You know he won’t. He’s your best friend, and although he loves to annoy you he also knows you will pummel him if he crosses a line. Last time he lost the page you were on he woke up with purple hair.

Your revenge didn’t work as well as you had hoped because he looked amazing with that color, but still.

But you jump, trying to grab the book out of his hands anyways, trying not to smile when he giggles again.

You huff, knowing full well you won’t be able to reach your book when Mingyu is built like a whole tree, so you do what any reasonable person would do.

You shoot forward and push into the backs of his knees, knocking him over.

In the chaos your book falls to the side. There’s a mad scramble to reach the book first.

You’re pushing Mingyu’s head sideways, he’s pulling on your shirt sleeve sliding you backwards, you’re tripping him again as he tries to stand up, elbows are thrown.

Somehow it ends up with you sitting on top of him, victorious, book in hand, laughing gleefully at Mingyu’s failure.

You’re both breathing heavily, laughing and out of breath.

Then you realize how close yours and Mingyu’s faces are together. And you glance down at his lips, and suddenly it feels like the atmosphere changes. It’s charged with something you’re afraid to name. This is your best friend.

But Mingyu is looking at you too, and you think fuck it.

You lean in and press your lips to his, feeling fireworks when he immediately kisses back, his hands pulling you down closer to him.

Mingyu kisses like he’s going to lose you. He’s desperate and almost sloppy, leaving open mouthed kisses on any exposed skin he can reach.

You pull on his hair accidentally as you move and he moans, eyes rolling back into his head.

The next time you pull his hair it is decidedly not an accident.

He looks so gorgeous like this and you have no idea why you didn’t realize your feelings sooner. You could have been doing this so much sooner, you think as Mingyu lets out another beautiful whine beneath you.

And you’re all staying in a hotel for some reason but Joshua “falls asleep early” so that you and Minghao stay up late on the other bed talking and laughing and chatting and then falling asleep and somehow~ ending up asleep with Minghao in your arms.

And Minghao clings in his sleep so there’s no escaping, not that you particularly wanted to. It’s sweet how his head ends up on your chest, cuddled in close.

Minghao doesn’t wake up blushing in the morning, just like you don’t pretend to still be asleep so as not to embarrass him.

And Shua definitely doesn’t have photos of the two of you snuggling before either of you woke up.

And then oops Shua has an earlier flight than Minghao by a day??? Oh nooooo guess you and Hao have some heart to heart he realizes he’s falling in love with someone he just met? And is leaving in a day? Fuck!

Lucky for both of you, you’re both falling in love and it’s very cliche and cute and leads to you both confessing at the same time.

“I um really like you. AndIknowI’mabouttoleavebut I just needed you to know because you’re amazing and I don’t want to regret saying nothing if there’s a chance you feel something too?” Minghao’s ears are bright red at this point. He wishes the floor would disappear beneath him as he waits for you to respond.

Because you’re staring at him open mouthed saying nothing at the moment.

“Well I was about to say pretty much the same thing to you Hao so this works out great.” You joke, but you feel your own cheeks warm.

“So um, what happens now?” Hao has a hopeful look on his face, like he can’t quite believe it’s true.

“Can I kiss you now?”

If possible, Minghao’s cheeks grow redder.

“We don’t have to! Sorry I don’t want to rush you at all if-“

“No!” Minghao interrupts, “I mean! I want to. I want you to, um, kiss me.”

You smile again and loop an arm around his slim waist, pulling him closer to you. “You’re sure?”

He nods his head vigorously, and you giggle.

Tentatively, your lips touch. Then again, and again. They’re soft, chaste kisses, but somehow your stomach feels alight with butterflies.

You see Minghao’s eyes flutter shut as you move one hand to cup his jaw, gently angling his face to give you access to his neck, and leaving light kisses there as well.

Minghao let’s out a sound somewhere between a squeak and a moan, and you pull away suddenly. “Is that too much? I can stop.”

“No! No it’s not that! Sorry I’m messing this up so badly.”

“Hao.” You whisper, waiting for him to meet your eyes again. “You’re not messing anything up, I promise. Just tell me what’s up- did I do something you didn’t like?”

“No it’s not that! I just don’t really ah, know what I’m doing? I guess? I feel like that’s embarrassing.”

You smile, “Hao that’s completely fine, let’s just do what feels good, okay?”

He nods again.

“Do you want to keep kissing?”

He nods some more.

“Words, darling. I need to hear it.”

“Yes! Yes please.”

You pull him back in by his shirt collar and press a searing kiss to his lips. Minghao responds in kind, his hands moving up your thighs, angling his head to kiss you more deeply.

When you check your phone several hours of cuddling and kissing later, you see a text from Joshua.

You snort, of course Joshua could see right through the both of you. You turn to show Minghao the texts, only to see his eyes have closed and his breathing evened.

Instead, you snap a photo of the two of you cuddled like this and send it over to Shua, typing;

So you invite him back to your hotel, giggly and warm when his lips find yours the moment the lock of your door clicks into place.

His hands on your hips pull you close to him, sliding lower until they reach your thighs and picking you up effortlessly, all without his lips leaving yours.

Your hands are exploring, unbottoning his collar to run your hands along his throat, down his chest. You can feel how it affects him, his body shuddering with every caress.

When he sets you down on the bed, and more clothes disappear, you find yourself hoping this moment can last forever. No complicated issues making this impossible for you and Mingyu to continue, no tomorrow. Just here and now, Mingyu pressing kisses along your sternum and lower, eyes dark as he looks up at you through his lashes.

You breathe in, focusing back on the moment, on Wonwoo’s arms wrapped around you, on your head laid gently against his chest, and his faint heartbeat you can hear.

Jisoo had forced Jun to promise to come wake him up every time he got them; he didn’t want Jun suffering alone. Lately though, they had been becoming more and more frequent. It worries Jisoo a lot, not having any idea what could be causing them. 

Jisoo knows better than to pry though.

Jun had always been, at least with his more personal thoughts, very reserved. Anyone else would think Jun is a very loud person, which he is, but beneath that… it is very hard to get close to him. That loudness is a bit like a shield, to keep people away from asking questions.

Jisoo was the glaring exception to this rule.

For some reason not entirely known even to Jisoo himself, Jun had let him in. Jun had confided much with Jisoo, maybe because Jun knew that Jisoo would never push him for more than he was willing to share. That included not wanting to speak about the nightmares that would have Jun running down the hall and right to Jisoo’s bunk, crawling in next to him before the elder is even fully awake yet.

Jisoo has seen the affect the nightmares are having on Jun over an extended period of time, making the bags under Jun’s eyes darker and stealing what little sleep he might have been able to manage after long schedules.

Eventually Jisoo just told Jun to start sleeping in the same bed with him, half the time they ended up in the same bed half way through the night anyways.

Jisoo always holds tight to Jun, cuddling him in close and running gentle hands through his hair to calm him. Because there was nothing Jisoo could really do to stop the nightmares, all he could manage is making Jun feel safe enough to try to sleep again.
