He cracks his knuckles, and thankfully for him, Yellow Temperance was a Stand he could see, given how it attaches itself to the user. 

"So vulgar. Trying to use such a slimy thing against shadows."

Regardless, it seems the shadow’s aren’t linked to him like a Stand would be to it’s user. Any damage taken to the tendrils simply has them dissipate and reform again, similarly to Justice. The tendrils further constrict, bubbling with their own dark almost tar-like quality, leaving a sticky residue that perhaps wasn’t too dissimilar to Rubber’s own stand. Except this didn’t devour what it touched.

"Mmm… A demonstration… I have something in mind."

The shadowy protrusions from the floor start to form into a being, an exact copy of himself, actually. The clear difference being the new figure being completely shadowed out and solid jet black in colour. Formed as a figure, it’s now a hand clasped over Rubber’s mouth rather than a tendril gagging him. The shadow wrapped around his leg simply seems to be an extension of the new figure’s legs, which have melded into a mass of dark matter.

There were only a few times he had seen a stand but every time he did it always maintained a ghost like appearance. This one was clearly visible and had a physical form. It was most likely a useful ability but nothing could convince him it had any power over a pillar man's ability.

"Is that so? Proceed, then." Kars leans forward with great interest, waiting to see what Vanilla will do. When the shadow changes to a figure like Vanilla's, a small 'heh' escapes him as he smirks. He can imagine just how clever he must be with a mode such as this.

"Well now, A superior of mine is quite looking forwards to me punishing such a rude mouth… and I always deliver.”

While he doesn’t have a stand, his mode activates, his shadow extending until the arms of his shadow take a firm grip on Rubber’s legs. The arms seem to be solid while coming out of the floor from a not-so-solid shadow. He taps his chin for a moment.

"Mmmm… higher."

The hands snake higher, the further they get from his shadow the more the definition of them being ‘hands’ turns to thick tendrils, one keeps his legs together, the other practically gags him.

He stands a bit of a distance from the two, merely observing and enjoying the small show the other gives. It's the first time he's ever seen the other's mode, which is the opposite of his own. He almost visibly shivers with excitement as the shadows move up the human's legs, chuckling to himself as they gag him. He expected no less from Vanilla.

Hmm.

His gaze is still fixed on her, probably enough that she can almost physically feel the heavy weight of it pinning her. Though he's done studying her, he makes sure to stay there a moment longer if only because he's aware of how uncomfortable it makes her.

Finally he blinks and possibly even chuckles, though it is barely audible.

Kars' eyes never leave her as he studies her with a mostly neutral, occasionally skeptical expression on his face. He notes the submissive attitude she has towards him, perhaps she knows her place beneath him. It almost brings a smirk to his lips. Almost.
