“She’s my little girl so I’d have it no other way, but she’s my baby so no matter what she does, or what she’s like I’m going to be proud of her.” Wenty could gush for hours about Alexa. “I haven’t experienced craving but Mack experienced some strange ones when she was pregnant.” wenty tried to relate. “I’m not sure my powers nothing like yours, so I’m no help there.”

Raina chuckled softly before nodding her head. “I hope to have kids one day.” she’d answer honestly. “I just love the idea of little footsteps walking along my hard wood floors.” she’d smile softly at the other. “It’s alright, truthfully i just like voicing my opinions.” she nodded at the other. “That makes sense considering each power seems to be somewhat unique in this town.”

Zane raised his eyebrows at the girl’s statement. Was she really asking him, of all people, this question? He found himself rolling his eyes. “Why does it matter? If you’re hungry then eat something. It’s not like it’s going to automatically make you gain weight.” He said to her. He wasn’t really in the mood for silly questions today and he sure as hell wasn’t going to reassure her when it came to her image. He wouldn’t do that for anyone besides his fiancee. And even then, he didn’t need to. Bianca never asked these questions.

“It was a question Mr. Patel. You know a way to open up conversation.” she’d state plainly at the other before raising an eyebrow at them. “I didn’t expect it to automatically make me gain weight, it was more of a question as to what an acceptable amount of baked goods to eat is.” she’d raise an eyebrow at the other before turning her attention back to something more pleasant. 

Wentworth wanted to surprise his girlfriend and their daughter, with a sweet treat from the bakery. But he was having a problem with deciding what to pick it all looked so good. “ Not at all. I was thinking about getting one of everything since I can’t decide.” he leved with the guard. “ I think it just makes you Human… well as human as we can be.” 

Raina smiled softly at wentworth when he mentioned his daughter. “How is the little cutie going? getting big and strong i imagine.” she’d chuckle softly before trailing her eyes over a pile of croissants. “Honestly it’s such a smart decision especially when you get those random cravings.” she’d pause her eyes looking over a choclate croissant in a window. “Do you think if i eat choclate i’ll get sick, or is that only when i’ve got four legs.” 

Theodore raised an eyebrow. He suspected he might have been surprised by that information, if he had not recognized the woman after a simple beat. Raina. Canine Physiology. He recalled the file. “I suspect cat person and dog person has more to do with exposure to cats and dogs and stereotypes rather than intrinsic preferences,” he said aloud, though the words weren’t directed at Raina specifically. “But yes. Everyone does have preferences.”

“I mean it’s a bit of how each species act? if you want something active you get a dog, if you want something to lay around and pat you get a cat.” she’d shrug her shoulders she had a serious allergy to cats so she wasn’t much of a cat person besides when the whole canine physiology came into play the species just annoyed her. “I’d get 100 dogs if i could.”

“Vodka, rum, any spirit, really.” Kristen smirked as she walked into the coffee shop with her friend. “Oh trust me, I’ll resist.” She snorted and shook her head. “You know, I used to not like dogs. Or any kind of house pet. But now I have my own dog.” Kristen explained. “And he’s the only dog or pet I’ll probably ever like. So no need to turn into a dog near me.” She wasn’t saying it to be rude, it’s just how she felt. She never cared to have pets around her, nor did she care to give them attention. If Raina turned into a house pet, she’d treat her no different. 

“Yes, that is precisely why we are getting it.” Kristen said with a smile as she walked towards the counter. Her stomach automatically growled when she saw all of the pastries. “On second thought… I’ll probably get a snack here as well.”

Raina raised an eyebrow at the other before crossing her arms across her chest. “Yet to be proven Miss Parrish.” a playful smirk on her lips now. “I’m not a huge fan of cats honestly i just think they’re out to rule the world.” she’d shrug her shoulders at the statement. “I am curious though if i ever did have kids what powers they’d get.”

Raina nodded at the mention of food. “I’m always hungry so i won’t say no to fries.” she’d grin at the other before stepping up to the counter and ordering her fix.

“Oh god.” Kristen snorted and shook her head. “I am not drinking wine, if that’s what you’re thinking.” She said. “Of course it’s scarier. It’s much better than a regular house pet.” Kristen informed her friend. “Although, I’m pretty biased. My favorite animal is a wolf and I imitate them almost every day.” She smirked. Her eyes widened and she practically cringed. “I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.” Kristen then began laughing as she entered the cafe, holding the door open for Raina. “Come on, let’s get us some spiked coffee. Or we could just go to the nearby bar and get drinks to go so we can still shop?”

“Vodka mums then it is?” she’d grin at the other before shrugging her shoulders. “Hey i can be pretty cute woman, i doubt you’d be able to resist scratching my head.” she’d chuckle softly before elbowing the other gently. “I think spiked coffee’s probably going to be easier to hide than just bottles of alchol.” she’d smirk at the others options before continuing. “Also less easy to get caught if you ask me.”

“You know, you can always invite him.” Kristen said with a wide smile. “He’s my friend too.” She nudged her friend in the shoulder and then chuckled. “You what?” Kristen then cackled. “You have this amazing canine power and you are going to pick going as a labrador?” Kristen asked and then shook her head. “The least you could do is go as a wolf. That’s what I would go as if I could transform my body instead of just imitate them.” 

“Yeah, but then that interupts on wine mum’s time.” she’d joke before elbowing the other gently. “Of course his your friend but that doesn’t mean i want to share my quality time with you.” she’d smile softly at the other before shrugging her shoulder. “I mean that probably would be scarier, but maybe i want pats from all the drunk people.” her smile would only grow wider at the thought. “I do love behind the ear rubs aswell.”

Theodore waved off the apology. It had been partially his fault anyway–he was easy to trip over when his eyes were on his books rather than on where he was walking. “It’s fairly pleasant, now that the rain has stopped,” he answered, a small smile on his lips. He liked cool weather–it made it easier for him to focus. “Unless you like the rain. In which case, I am sorry.”

“I don’t mind the rain actually.” she’d chuckle softly to herself before digging her hands into her pockets. “My husbands not as much of a fan apparently i come back inside smelling like wet dog.” she’d grin at the other. “It’s alright! everyone has there own preferences right, its like being a cat or dog person!” 

Kristen snorted and shook her head. “No, I am not. I’m not sure if your husband would appreciate that.” She said as she ran a hand through her hair and began walking towards the coffee shop. “What, does Damien look down on you if you drink?” She asked, furrowing her eyebrows slightly. “I’m not sure yet. On one hand I want to dress up as something to be sexy, but I was just recently told that I should do something different. So I might.” Kristen shrugged her shoulders. “Do you know what you’re going to be?”

“Doesn’t look down on me, god no! I think he’d be more upset he wasn’t invited.” she’d chuckle at the other. “I thought i’d just morph into a labrodor and go from there.” she’d grin at the other before shaking her head. “Save a bit of money on costumes don’t you think?” she’d grin at her best friend before linking arms with the other. 

“I am not on a pedestal.” Kristen rolled her eyes slightly and then shook her head. Even if she was putting herself on a pedestal, she wouldn’t admit it. Then again, her ex did teach her that she deserved much more. Maybe it wasn’t so bad if she put herself on a pedestal? “Well first, I’d like some coffee.” Kristen hummed. “With some bailey’s in it, though.” She smirked. “Then, I was thinking we could go costume shopping? You know, since Halloween is coming up.”

“Ohhh are you asking me to be your date to this delicious event?” she’d elbow Kristen gently before grinning at the other. “It’s okay if you’re on a pedestal, i’ll treat you like a princess.” she’d tease the other before letting out a chuckle. “I could do with some spiked coffee aslong as you don’t tell my husband..” she’d shrug her shoulders before continuing. “What are we dressing up as?”

“It’s not silly.” Kristen shook her head as she took another bite of her sandwich. “Are you two just working a lot or something?” Kristen asked her friend as she glanced towards Raina. “Maybe you two should ask for some time off together and have a date night.” 

Raina offered the other a small smile as she took another bite of her salad. “Yeah, opposite schedules and all that.” she’d sigh before shrugging her shoulders. “We probably should but it’ll take alot of organising and favours.”
