OTOME GAMES ARE NOT FOR MINORS.

You should NOT being playing otome games if you are a minor. They were not made for you. Yeah, some of them have ratings like E or T so that Apple won’t take them off their app store. THESE GAMES STILL WERE NOT ACTUALLY MADE FOR YOU.

How can anyone think otherwise? The main characters are adults who are romancing adults. They’re drinking, they’re engaging in adult activities. The love interests are often in their mid to late 20s, but sometimes they’re in their 30s, 40s, and even their 50s!

People old enough to be anything from your far older sibling to your parent are definitely NOT going to be interested in dating you!

Hell, the romantic options in Obey Me!, with the exception of Solomon, have never even been a child. They were created as adults thousands of years ago! They cannot relate to you in any way! And Solomon is an adult who has been immortal for hundreds of years; he definitely is not able to relate to a child anymore!

Otome games are not for children. So if you are a minor, you should not be playing otome games.

And not just that. You should not run a blog dedicated to otome games. You should not interact with blogs about otome games. You should definitely not be interacting with NSFW content related to otome games- or ANY NSFW content at all. You should not have a NSFW blog. You should not follow or interact with adults. I’m sorry if this sounds strict and infantalizing but it’s for your own protection and theirs. It’s an issue of safety.

Stop violating the boundaries of adults. Stop interacting with adult content. Stop interacting with adult blogs. Stop trying to be an adult! You are a minor. Stop exposing yourself to content that is dangerous for you! You are not the target audience for these games and you should not be playing them or posting about them or interacting with posts about them.

I’m not saying this to make you feel small, or to make you feel disrespected. I am saying this to protect you.

If you are a minor, don’t interact with blogs like mine. My friends and I don’t want minors following us for a reason.

Wow, imagine hearing “Minors should not play games where you play as an adult, have lots of sex with other adults, and engage in other adult activities” and going “But one of the games you gave as an example isn’t technically an otome game” as if that somehow proves minors should be playing games full of sexual content somehow. Imagine thinking that’s an actual argument. Wtf.

Okay, for the people clowning in the notes, let me reword this and see if this helps you out:

MINORS SHOULD NOT PLAY GAMES WHERE YOU PLAY AS AN ADULT AND HAVE SEX WITH OTHER ADULTS. MINORS SHOULD NOT PLAY GAMES FULL OF SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT. MINORS SHOULD NOT BE ON SEXUALLY EXPLICIT BLOGS. MINORS SHOULD NOT INTERACT WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE SAID THEY DON’T WANT MINORS INTERACTING. MINORS DO NOT NEED TO BE EXPOSED TO SEXUALLY EXPLICIT CONTENT.

Is that better, or are you going to come up with a ridiculous argument for that too?

Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Kingdom Movie At AnimeExpo

Yep you read that right. Maji Love Kingdom is going to be at Anime Expo on July 5th with special guests Terashima Takuma and Mamoru Miyano! There is also going to be a Q&A session afterwards!

The Sentai website also details a “limited theatrical release” afterwards, and while I personally don’t live anywhere near America, so I very much hope that since Sentai has the license for it, that it will be played in international cinemas as well. I know that cinemas in Melbourne often play anime movies, so theres hope for all of us! Thanks to @amisbro for letting me know!
