yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.
like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.
but on this New art blog, i've had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it's always public, too. their following list and their likes list.
and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don't know how tumblr works. how likes don't give exposure. not even in a "oh, i know it doesn't give exposure, but i'm still going to reblog anyways" way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn't realize tumblr likes don't work like twitter's.
PLEASE please if you're from tiktok or twitter or whatever please reblog people's art both fandom and original if you like it!! and maybe actually pad out your blog's content in some way so people won't potentially see you as a bot and block you.

After what was about a day and a half now, you still weren't home yet. Camilo had noticed that you hadn't returned after you had been missing for an hour. He was extremely worried for you and decided to leave and go search for you. You had been sleeping in a tree, like a lion, for what seemed like forever.
You woke up to the sound of leaves rustling. You open your eyes and stretch, looking around for the source of said sounds. Your eyes land on a distraught Camilo. He looked around worriedly, "(Y/N)! (Y/N), where are you?!" He called. You tried to hide in the tree that you are in, but make some noise doing so. "(Y/N)?" Camilo calls, looking toward the tree anxiously. You froze in place as he stared at you, running towards your current location. "(Y/N)! I was so worried!" He says, climbing the tree.
As he climbs closer to you, you move away from him. You were too scared to see him right now. "(Y/N)? Wh-what's wrong?" He asks sadly, slowly reaching out to you with a singular hand. "I-" You start, looking away swiftly. "G-go away Cami." You say sadly, trying not to cry. "(Y- (Y/N)... Please, talk to me..." He starts, holding your cheek in his hand gently. You turn to him sadly, making slow eye contact with him. "I... I can't..." He tilts his head sadly towards you as you try to turn away, but he holds your face still.
"Why don't you want to want to talk to me?" He asks sadly, gently adding his second hand to your face as he settles down next to you on the branch. You try to turn away again, but he holds you in a sort of side hug, holding onto you tightly. "I- I don't want to see you because I'm scared... A-and I didn't want you to see me like this..." You try to explain, but sniffle through your sentence.
As you explain yourself, he starts to loosen his grip on you, but you decide to tighten your newfound hug. He seems a bit taken aback by this since you weren't one to show too much physical affection. Either way, he hugs you back, tighter than you. You start to sob a bit and say quick apologies into his neck as he lets you get it all out. "I- I'm so sorry Cami." You apologize swiftly. "I don't mean to be a burden right now, I shouldn't be crying right now. Not with how things are going for you." You state sadly, hugging him. "Hey," he starts, pushing you away to look at your face. "Don't worry about it, you have every right to cry." He says, smiling affectionately.
He glances down to his ruana then glances back up, smiling mischievously. "What are you thi-" You can't even finish your sentence when you feel sudden warmth. "There, now you're warm." He says, slowly blowing on your face, trying to keep your face warm. You smile and giggle at his antics, blowing back at him. "I don't think that this is helping." You say, smiling gingerly. "Well, it did stop your shivering, didn't it?" He asks you sweetly, leaning back. In doing so, you fall on top of him. "I didn't even realize that I was." You said, nuzzling into his warmth.
He holds onto your waist tightly, leaning back more. "Do you trust me?" He asks, smiling down at you kindly. Not really," You giggle. "But for the sake of it, sure" You smile happily. "Okay then, hold on!" He yells, smiling widely. He starts to lean backward and starts falling off of the branch. "Cami! What are you doing?!" You ask, giggling wildly. "Just a trust fall." He jokes, squeezing your waist.
As you two hit the ground, he takes most of the impact. He groans a bit but smiles again almost immediately. "See, told you that you could trust me." he gleams. "Never said that I didn't." You retort. He chuckles then holds you gently, closing his eyes leisurely. He grips you and tosses you to his side like a ragdoll, cuddling up to you. As you two face each other, he blows onto your face again. "Why do you keep doing that?" You ask, smiling happily. "Because I want to." He says in a teasing tone.
You start to fall asleep, watching as his eyes flutter closed. You blow onto his face once more before falling into a nice slumber. You dream about beautiful colors, the stars, and the moon.
-time skip-
You start to flutter your eyes open to see a sleeping Camilo giggling lightly in his sleep. You chuckle and lightly kiss his nose, causing him to stir in his sleep. He opens his eyes after a few adjusting blinks. "Hey." He says in a husky morning voice. "Morning sleepyhead." You say, ruffling his hair gently. You smile happily and hug him tightly. "Thank you for coming to find me." You thank him. "No problem mi Vida." He teases. You smile and you two stay like that for a while, not wanting to get up. You both lay there and cuddle for a long time, happy with each others' presence.
