The blonde was caught a little of guard. He hadn’t realized he said the words outload until her question came. There was intent to explain it either. Athena would just have to make her own sense of his words. Instead of thinking about it, he put his focus into the ride. The terrain here was rough and needed his attention. The last thing they needed was to crash. Then he’d never heard the end of it.
After what seemed like over and hour of constant movement, they finally came to the area he’d been looking for.
Tall black trees loomed overhead as he slowed the back down to a slower pace to weave into the forest. The sun had set, leaving them in almost pitch black. The only light came from Fenrir, allowing them to see only what was directly ahead. He knew what he was looking for and hopefully they found it soon. Moving through the dark like this made him uncomfortable.
Athena took a deep breath as she leans her chin on his shoulder and watched everything that had passed them by. She didn’t mind the ride but she felt like this ride was gonna be pointless. She didn’t want to talk to Aerith and she didn’t want to know what the truth that Sephiroth would be doing . There was some regret because she knew deep down that Zack would never trust her again or even Cloud. It was why she stay away from everyone. Once they came to their destination the blonde looked over at him as she sighs. ❝How far is this place?❞ She asked as she looked around the area as she then looked back at him. ❝So…how is Zack doing?❞ She asked him. She had not seen him sense the whole bringing back Sephiroth thing happen.

The engine roared as he took off. It felt so familiar and…nice to have her riding with him. Cloud had to remind himself that this wasn’t the past. That part of their lives was over and done with. Instead of focusing on her and those memories, he gave his attention to the road and the path to where he might be able to connect with Aerith.
His answer to her question softly sigh as she felt the power of Fenrir spark up. He purred liked a kitten still . The blonde kept her self close as he took off , She didn't like the fact that her and Cloud were already close like this. She was to stay low in case Sephiroth needed her. But she couldn't do anymore then what she was doing now. "Where exactly are we heading Cloud?" Honestly she had no idea how these things worked. Talking to those who belong to the life stream. Yet she knew how to rip a soul out of there.

Cloud knew that the same could be said of all of them. He had his faults even if they weren’t as bad as Sephiroth’s. He walked back to his bike, getting onto the large machine. Slipping his goggles into place, he gestured for her to get on behind him.
“I think you need to talk to Aerith more than I do. Maybe she can help us both.”
She raised a brow and looked at him. He wasn’t gonna let this go , if he wanted to know the truth of Sephiroth then so be it. she drop her arms to her side and walked up to him and got on the bike , she wraps her arm around his waist and smirks. “You want me to talk to Aerith then we BOTH will might be a little more happier talking to someone you miss.” She said softly. She didn’t want to do this but she couldn’t stop him at the moment . Pluse she was bored.

The blonde swallowed hard and closed his eyes. Athena truly believed her own words. She could not see the spell Sephoroth had cast over her. He had made the world love him and follow him as a soldier. Even Cloud himself had wanted to be like him…but that was the past.
"So let’s go ask her.”
She looked over at him and raised a brow. She turned around as she laughs as she pushes some hair away from her face. She scoffs as she walks around the area they were in as she sighs as she leans against piece of what was left of the house . She looked at him. Aerith could and would possibly tell him the truth about the father of the child. She turned her head and looked at him. "Why don't you ask her then...." She told him. "You know..." She looks down as she then looked back up at him. "You act like you're the only one who has lost something in their life Cloud. I lost a lot...because of Shinra I lost my family I lost people i adored . All because Sephiroth." Part of her was admitting the truth of what she hated about Sephiroth. "If you truely want me to see the worse...show me besides what he has done..as of late he has been quiet so you can't blame him for anything." She said as she pushed off the house.

His hands called into fists, nails digging into the leather of his gloves. These things had never been said out loud. Of course they were wrapped up inside his mind but speaking it all…made it so much more real and it hurt that much more. Because of her obsession with Sephiroth, he lost what could have been his only chance at having a child and a life aside from all this.
She watched him as she glared at him. His words that spilled from his mouth made her hurt more then anything. She was not in her right mind to think that Sephiroth was actually her CHILD . She shook her head as she looked away as she growls at his last comment. "HE MY SON!" She glared. If he only knew the truth on who the father was it made her nearly want to spit venom in formed in words that would make him break. "And only Aerith would know the truth behind it all Cloud!" She spat at him. She turned as he breaths heavily , her heart was beating hard against her chest as she brought her hand to her head as she shook her head. "I--- Am his mother and I will not let you stand in his damn way or anyone else . "She said looking at the building. She then turned her head to look at him. "And if he wants the world to burn then so be it!" She yelled at him.

Sephiroth would never be that to him. It didn’t matter where the dna for his newest body came from. That child was gone, its soul stolen away by a monster. The child that might have been his was long gone, dead and hopefully with Aerith in the Life stream. It was the best he could hope for.
“That child died. You stole its life away like it never mattered.”
The child was him it was always him if he only understood what she did. The soldier glared at him and shook her head as she moved away from him. He wasn't gonna change her mind on what she knew. That was her son and she knew it. She quickly moved towards him as she stop just inches away from getting to close to him. "He is my son! It was him the whole time for crying out loud Cloud. I freed him that is it!" She told him. She felt like she was losing it trying to explain how she was right and no matter how much she tried it didn't seem right. The blonde moved back a little as she looked up at the sky took a deep breath , she was a fighting an endless battle of people not understanding. She wanted nothing more then make things different but she couldn't go back now.

His words trailed of because he knew it didn’t matter. No amount of words or questions was going to make things different. Athena made her choice. Now she was an enemy just as much as Sephiroth was.
" I ...." She looked at him and frowns. There were a few people and she couldn't help but feel worse then she did before. Here she was standing in front of him and not fighting him when she knew she should be. She sighs as she looks away and pushes some of her blond locks away from her face. "Cloud there are people I care for more then you know....." She said lightly . To be honest what Athena was feeling was a love would give to their child. She did hold him for 9 months and then gave birth only for a couple months later to give him his body back. "He is my son ..." She admitted to him. "I carried him Cloud and I bonded with him... i can't just .." She knew there was gonna be a time when she would see a different part of him and change it all. She then looked up at him. " He is OUR son...." she told him. "Don't you feel it? In your heart?" she asked.

Cloud just stared at her for a moment, his face neutral even if his eyes betrayed his emotions. But slow, he let out a breath and stared down to the dirt below.
“I know.”
It was all he said at first because it was the truth. He wasn’t ignorant to the history of his adversary.
“I know everything they did but that doesn’t make it okay for him to take that out on the world. They ruined my life too but I didn’t try to burn the world for it.” He said softly, looking back up at her.
All she could do was look at him at first she felt like maybe Sephiroth was taking to far about destroying the world . But she honestly felt like there was no other way to fix this. Deep down she didn't want it to be fixed. She brought back someone she adored and care for. He was someone special to her heart. She felt bad on how she did it but she could not change what was to come for them all.
"You maybe right and there is no in talking him out of it but I am neither gonna stop him Cloud." She said lightly. " I can't ...I worked to hard to get him back and I am not gonna lose him again." She said softly . What would Zack think of what she was saying? She didn't want to know her heart actually ached thinking about it.

"Have you ever thought what he felt?" She asked him. She shook her head as she laughs and brought her arms up . "Look around you Cloud he is doing us a favor! " She told him.
She sighs as she brought her arms down as she shook her head. "It didn't have to be like this but i was left with no choice and he deserves this . What Shinra did was wrong! They used him." She told him.
