This is a masterpost of my beloved trilogy, that im working very hard at. Where i'll post lore and some concept arts for in between chapters.

But Pina! Why do a masterpost for a trilogy that you've not even finish the first book! BECAUSE ITS MOTIVATION FOR ME TO FINISH IT! SHUSH CHILD.

Starting with Your World, Y.O.U is a story centered in Quarang where the Avatar universe is further explored (Future concept arts to be added)

Your World

Following Quadritch's fall from the vortex, we witness the aftermath of the Mangkwan's defeat, as well as their resurgence.

Main cast:

Quaritch

Miles still doesn't know exactly who he is—an entirely new person or just a reflection of the man he once was. This affects his decisions and stances, especially when choosing a side between the Mangkwan and the GDR.

Varang

Continuing her duties as Tsahik and mother of the clan, we explore Varang's past further, as well as her family and relationship with the members of her clan. She wants nothing more than to spread Mangkwan influence and ensure that her people do not suffer more than necessary.

Lyle

Lyle doesn't fully grasp his colonel's attachment to the Mangkwan; he sees the benefits of the alliance, but nothing more than that. Even so, he remains loyal to his only friend and commander on Pandora, and would take a bullet for him.

Zari and Wukula

Both Zari and Wukula are Varang's main arms and elites, as well as her best childhood friends. They play an important role in who Tsahik decides to be and why.

Lore exposition and extra context

The prodigy daughter

Varang is the youngest of her family, her sister Lenet was Tsakarem, but Varang herself was superior both in herbs and anatomy, as well as in combat.

She was the pride and joy of her mother, who sees her as a reincarnated spirit of Eywa herself, with a great purpose to fulfill in the world. Although others only see her as a strange child who likes to play with morbid things…

*The knife Varang uses today is an heirloom from her mother, the only thing that survived her being consumed by the volcano's flames.

*Lenet was indifferent to the blatant favoritism in her family because, for her, she was going to be Tsahik anyway, and then finally her sister wouldn't be a problem for her anymore.

A soldier or something more

Throughout the story, we follow Quaritch's existential crisis as he struggles to shake off the memories of the dead man he once was. A minor event still unfolding forces him to choose a side, and he finds himself increasingly immersed in his partner's culture. And although not entirely complacent, he easily adapts to the Mangkwan lifestyle.

Culture and customs

The Mangkwan are known for being feared and violent, but at their core, many of their cultures and traditions have deep roots from the time when their forest still flourished.

They still gather for the taming of Ikrans and also celebrate their own Iknimaya, named Tsìyawn Kxan, when young warriors prove useful to the clan.

Great artisans and builders, the Mangkwan could erect a palace made entirely of stone and sand if they wanted to. All their bitterness and resentment is passed on to the next generation with the sole purpose of preparing them for something they themselves were not prepared for.

The White Lands

The White Lands are a specific point in the Arctic region of Pandora. Various clans settled and adapted there, among them the Tilamak, a clan that was once friendly and well-united with the Mangkwan, visiting them from season to season and forging bonds of trust, until they simply stopped shortly before the great eruption.

Nillu and Varang

The current Olo'eyktan of the Tilamak clan was once a child, and one with a strong crush on the daughter of the Mangkwan chiefs. Nillu and Varang had a brief and innocent romance before the Tilamak clan returned to their icy domain and never came back.

The RDA

The RDA wants nothing more than to establish a functional colony on Pandora, and doesn't care about the means to achieve it. Although if they can do it at low cost…that would be preferable.

Angela Harding

Angela was the newly promoted general who comes directly from the western frontier, highly recommended by Mercer. Because of her actions, a permanent alliance with the Mangkwan was compromised, and she suffers the consequences.

The Mangkwan have four main seasons in their desert:

Kxanì-Tìrey

(SEASON OF DEEP ARIDITY)

Constant extreme hea, dry air to the point of cracking the skin, almost no humidity, hot and cutting wind

Impact: scarce hunting and extremely rare water

Txonä-Krr

(SEASON OF CUTTING WINDS)

Constant and violent winds, slight drop in temperature (but still hot), there's always sound in the air (almost a living whistle)

migratory aerial creatures cross the region and ikrans become more agitated

Impact: difficulty in flying and impaired communication

Fìtseng-Ra

(ELECTRICAL STORM SEASON)

Dense, heavy clouds, heat + electricity in the airr results in frequent and extremely intense lightning strikes, discharges that hit the ground and remain active for seconds Impact: dangerous to be in open areas and more active hunting due to disoriented animals

Hì’i-Krr

(SEASON OF COLD NIGHTS)

Still hot days, but extremely cold nights Impact: Need for shelter and constant campfires
