Goblin (Guardian: The Great and Lonely God) - and boy is he lonely 😪
Love the general message of: your actions have consequences (eve if you don't remember your actions) and that means you will have to work hard for forgiveness whether it be from God or from loved ones
Has romance, drama, comedy (like laugh out loud moments), action and fantasy
K dramas love the miscommunication trope - it will have you screaming at the screen, " TELL HER!"
Love that there's rarely any physical intimacy - it's all done through dialogue, music and eye contact (felt like I was watching 90s bollywood again!🥰)
the plot twists were so goood - you kinda get the idea of some but some hit you out of nowhere 🤯
the chemistry between the 3 leads is WOW
K dramas get their male actors to full on break down sob - regularly - which was so refreshing to see?
even every single side character you get invested in cos they're given some sort of importance or journey so the acting is amazing
Yes I cried my whole monthly tear supply out in that episode
okay so I've learnt that kdramas will play the same songs again and again so that you will associate some songs with characters and some songs with romantic moments or sad moments etc
you will start singing the songs as if you know Korean around 2 episodes in
You will also listen to the playlist on repeat
The music plays a big part of storytelling and stays with you well after finishing an episode.
But yes overall a very good watch and perfect entryway into Kdramas
I'll be making this show my whole personality for the next month
