“P-pomneehehee!” Ragatha giggled. She curled up into a ball on her bed. Her hands tried to cover her mouth, but she couldn’t exactly muffle the laughter that bubbled out from the back of her throat.

Pomni kneaded against Ragatha’s sides. Her fingertips naturally followed the seams she could feel underneath her dress.

“You have a nice laugh, Ragatha,” Pomni said. “It’s cute.”

“Pfffhahaa—! R-reallyyy?” Ragatha’s shoulders shook, almost bumping against Pomni, but she somehow managed to hold herself back.

“Yes, really.” Pomni chuckled. Her fingers danced across her skin, making sure to focus on each groove of her ribs. Ragatha squeaked with every touch.

It was funny to see how earnest Ragatha could be even as she was being tickled dizzy. Ragatha craved affection, but once she got it, she almost seemed like she didn’t know what to do with herself. It was almost sweet in a way.

While Pomni still considered herself to be a bit more touch adverse, she had to admit that she had gotten much more comfortable with it as she got closer to Ragatha. Though, she still preferred to do the touching rather than being touched.

Like now.

“Wha—ahahaha!” Ragatha jolted when Pomni squeezed at the pudgy part of her stomach. Her arms shot into the air by instinct, but she seemed to not know what to do with them as they scrambled around aimlessly in the air. “Ahahahaehe!” Eventually, she chose to grab her pillow and squeeze it against her chest.

Ragatha’s smile stretched helplessly wider with each laugh. Her stitches creased at the corners, and her eyes snapped shut. Tiny droplets of tears clung at her eyelashes. Her face was flushed with a glow that was bright enough to almost hurt.

Pomni traced the patchwork design of her dress, focusing on the ones that framed her stomach.

“Ohohokay! Ohokayyy!” Ragatha hiccupped softly. She held Pomni’s wrists and eased her hands away from her waist.

Her breaths came out quick and uneven, but they eventually pattered out into a consistent pattern of soft pants and the occasional light giggle. Ragatha pushed the pillow to her side before running her fingers through her hair.

“Are you good?”

Ragatha nodded. “Thanks, Pomni.” She closed her eyes and relaxed against her mattress. “I feel a lot better now.”

Oh. Pomni had completely forgotten that she had been trying to cheer Ragatha up.

Well, at least it worked!

Pomni smiled. “You’re welcome.”

She let herself fall onto the mattress right next to Ragatha. They both stared at the ceiling. After a moment, Ragatha shifted closer to her.

OKAY BUT ALSO…jax…jax feeling like she’s not pretty enough to be a girl or is struggling to accept how happy she is looking at her being feminine in the mirror and ragatha trying to be reasuring but not overwhelming starts by sitting with her avoiding eye contact so jax doesn’t feel like she’s being stared at and maybe starts slow by holding her hands, rubbing her thumb over the back of her hand as she’s calling her pretty, looking up at her cautiously to make sure this is okay. jax isn’t rejecting her but she isn’t quite there to make eye contact yet only shifting her eyes a few times to look at her before looking awayyy and then like ragatha goes on to squeeze her shoulders and try to talk a little causally to jax, though a bit rambly and back and forth probably worrying about being overbearing and eventually jax tells her to shut up and just keep doing what she’s doing quietly, ragatha hesitantly obliges and cups her face to just look at her with awe but worry cause poor ol overthinker is still worried that she’s doing too much sigh SIGH but anyways TO THE OTHER PART of ragatha finally mustering the courage to kiss her face and jax doesn’t push her off so she keeps going till she starts kissing a little lower till she gets to the chin esque area and starts hearing her hold her breath and snicker a little. ohh ragatha knows ragatha knows RAGGY KNOWS and she will absolutely kiss under her chin down her neck over her shoulders bc jax is like the second most ticklish person in the circus (debatably tied with ragatha) and ragatha is a little suprised jax is letting her do this bc they haven’t had anything remotely similar to this in years. rags even kissing her chest and of course jax is ticklish there so now rags can hold her in a cuddle while smooching her pretty bunny and maybe even nuzzling or letting her hair ghost along her tooo idk dies
