I’ve got art!!! Okay so for the big Shadow drawing I had this idea I wanted to put to paper (screen?) that I feel like I might need to explain cause idk how well it’s conveyed here. Anyways I do this thing when I sit in a chair sometimes and when I lean forward I go on my tiptoes so I’m more level in that position or more comfortable or whatever idk. But one day I was thinking about it and I was like “Shadow’s shoes would honestly be perfect for that because of how they’re built” and thus this drawing was born.

I had empty space to fill so I just threw Shadow in some outfits on the side. Thought I’d try challenging myself with colors for those and I’m not too happy with how they turned out but I don’t feel like messing with them anymore😭. Also wanted to try doing some rendering in csp and I learned awesome things about the clipping masks in there that make very very happy :D

I made their eyes a bit bigger and more owl-like compared to the last time I drew them, but the size depends on how lidded they are, the individual, etc.

I’m actually having a blast trying to develop Chimera Shadow in his Teen Years. How different he was + what things shaped him into being who he is now.

Ok so context! With Eclipse, Shadow is now in an older brother position like Maria was to him. At first he doesn’t know what he’s doing so he hesitantly goes to Sonic for advice because he raised Tails. Eclipse and Shadow are very close in this AU, Eclipse almost like his Tails essentially. But one day, when Eclipse is a young adult, he discovers his origins and there’s a HUGE rift between them, with Eclipse joining what is left of the Black Arms in a misguided attempt to find who he is, turning to the “dark side” if you will. Shadow goes to Sonic again, but he doesn’t say anything… Sonic can tell something is very wrong here.
