Unpopular opinion: Rafe should not be with Sofia, that man should’ve gone to therapy instead of getting into a relationship and then proposing to her. I don’t like the way Sofia’s character was written either. She’s the stereotypical good girl who is changing him (plus she’s literally a random hook up), but in my personal opinion, I feel like it would make more sense if his love interest was with someone he knew during like season one like a childhood friend made more sense for him to get with in my opinion as well as someone who has more of a snarky personality and isn’t afraid to talk back. And I know everyone was saying that she had the right to betray him, but does she not realize he’s literally a ticking time bomb. I hope in season five he doesn’t get back with her and just focusses on himself and his mental health and getting a better relationship with his sister and the Pogues.
