I wanna headcanon that Zayne had a bowl cut still when he got into med school, and his peers, all older than him, moulded him into the very handsome boi he is, brick by brick. He was their little “raise a dreamboat” project. He didn’t even have to do anything, just stay buried in his books while he got a haircut (he still goes to the same place) still didn’t lift his head while the others took him shopping and bought him some clothes. Kinda just resigned to his fate and let em dress him up. There were a lot of experiments, but some results he liked, so he kept them. His parents were so surprised to see how much he had changed. You’d expect a kid in med school to look just terrible but nah their boy had his swag ON and was none the wiser.
