#2 Konan — Full Back (LB)
Konan is the tactical anchor of the Akatsuki defence. Operating as a left back, she combines discipline, intelligence and positional awareness to provide balance. She prioritises structure and control, and rarely leaves her defensive zone without a good reason, instead focusing on maintaining the team’s shape and ensuring that the defence remains compact and secure. A key aspect of her role is her partnership with Kakuzu. Positioned directly to his left, Konan often acts as the stabilising influence in their defensive relationship. While Kakuzu has the freedom to adapt and step into different roles during the match, Konan ensures that these movements do not compromise the overall defensive structure. Her presence allows Kakuzu to operate with confidence, knowing that the left side is being carefully managed. In possession, Konan is composed and efficient. She contributes to build up play with simple, accurate passing and is comfortable progressing the ball when space opens up. Her left footed profile allows her to naturally open the pitch on the left flank, providing clean angles for transition from defense to attack.
Konan is a disciplined, left footed defensive fullback who emphasises structure over aggression. She maintains defensive shape, supports build up play from deep positions and ensures that the defence remains organised at all times. Her understanding of space and timing makes her one of the most reliable players on the team when it comes to maintaining tactical balance.
