[ Text: Around that time my daughter and I had this exchange:

Anne, imagine if the world had nothing in it.

Do you mean nothing at all—just darkness—or a world without objects ?

I mean a world without things: no houses, chairs, or cars. A world with only people and trees and dirt.

What do you think would happen?

People will make things. We would always make things with tree and dirt

Memory Hole: The early websites of Radiohead

The band Radiohead have a cool archive of their old, cryptic, weird, bizarre, and nonsensical websites they did with whathaveyoudonetomyface (Stanley Donwood). These were a huge influence on me as a teenager, it was so fun to click through them, look for clues to new lyrics — they were a real rabbit hole. 

Now, of course, like the rest of us, they just have a blog.
