He had his own reasons for fighting Adam but they were not ones he cared to discuss. Something else she said peaked his interest though as it was imminently going to concern him.

"Tired, hmmm? Good thing we're already in my room then" Alastor said, thinking he was already feeling pretty worn out from the fight.

The deer demon sat down on the edge of his new bed and started unbuttoning his jacket. He realized as he was doing it that not only would she see his wound but she would see the tail. Oh, he never wanted anyone to see the tail! It dispelled the whole evil Radio Demon look he had going as it was cute and fluffy and everyone always had to comment on it when they did see it.

But he had already agreed to this and he really did need the medical attention so off the jacket came. He set it aside on the bed carefully next to him.

They say patience was a virtue.

Maybe that's why Vox was in Hell. Or at least a part of why.

Apparently Princess went to go pick up Angel, so they agreed to pick back up at the hotel.

And Vox really overestimated how good he was at just. Waiting.

He leaned back next to the double doors, the toe of his boot idly bouncing off the stone path.

Maybe he should have just asked to tag along. But considering the guy they're picking up is under contract with his boyfriend... might be a tad awkward.

Was the struggle to sit still and wait better than the awkward car ride?

The jury is still out on that.

Fortunately Vox didn't have to ponder that long, because in pulled the princess's limousine.

His bored, thousand yard stare was smoothly replaced by his easy smile as he pushed himself off the wall

"Welcome home! The car ride treated you three well, I hope?"

"Of course! Remember to leave some water with him."

He met Angel's glare with his smile frozen on and his eyes staring back dispassionately.

"And you be sure to relax, Angel. Fuck knows it's a bitch to deal with."

He knew from personal experience of workathoning without breaks to even quickly pop a pill let alone shoot up Heroin or drop some acid that withdrawals sucked.

Not that he felt one way or the other about Angel's struggle with it. If he wants to take that road, that's his business.

Though, Angel was wrong in his assumption. He really did not give a fuck whether or not Angel left. In fact, he was sort of hoping for the day Angel quit.

No, he had bigger fish to fry.

So as the two went inside, Vox waved them off.

The waiting game 2: electric boogaloo-

... Could have sworn he saw something when the front door closed.

Dominic was both on cloud nine and filled with anxiety. After two years of strict and harsh training, he was officially knighted by his grandfather, Lucifer. The dark medal was pinned to his chest and he was dressed in formal military garb. He never really felt he had a calling growing up, but when he ran off and found the fighting pits in Pride, he discovered something he enjoyed, something he’d feared his mother wouldn’t approve of; combat. Testing his skills, getting stronger and learning various martial arts. He met his first and best friend in the first pit he entered, The Lion’s Den. Now she and his other friends stood beside him in the crowd after the ceremony, talking and laughing now that he’d found his calling.

"You earned it, buddy. We're all super proud of you." Cedric's face looked like he'd put on some skeleton face paint though that was the look he was stuck with in Hell.

"It would seem as though we aren't the only ones." Yuki had long, black hair, white skin, and fox ears. She was dressed in full, elaborate Geisha garb, and though she hid her mouth behind a fan her golden eyes revealed her small smile. She had noticed the princess and subtly pointed her out to Dominic.

“Charlie, check it out! It’s a giant duck shaped hot air balloon!” Indoors too! What could go wrong?!

"The pleasure's mine, Princess! An honor to be in the presence of royalty!" Keep up the professional facade. Hostilities would only make things complicated. Truth be told he did not want to be near this hotel....lest he risk being mistaken as 'giving it the time of day'.....the V's would never recover from such a blow.
