DR people intros, The Newport Apartment Building, The Alpine Place, My house, book stuff, Kaydenās house, the BAM we work at, soon to be updatedā¦.
Okay so I feel like I should be upfront about the fact that this DR is mostly wishful thinking and for coping. But thatās basically all of our DRs. Also I will be using LOA(Law of assumption) as my shifting method for this DR so if you see me talking in past tense despite never even going there thatās way.
OKAY SO!!! This DR is essentially an alt version of a ābetter CRā Dr that we have, and one that Iām personally making for the aforementioned coping and wishful thinking reasons. I am myself in this DR, Alex Mason, a 27yo dude in a C-DID system whoās trying to make it in life as a fictive host and thankfully this DR has allowed me to cope with what Iām struggling with right now, and hope for the future!
ā¦When we got older, we somehow made it out of that hellhole of a town in Kentucky and moved back to Richmond in eastern Tennessee. We would rebuild our lives here. Heal. Find peace. Not just alone, but together. As a collective.
-> In this DR I live at this fancy apartment building called āThe Newport Apartment Buildingā and itās a really pretty place with 23 floors with all sorts of people you could ever meet, and some cool activities/job opportunities! The place has a cafe, a gym, jewelry store, bar, and hang out area! Pretty neat huh? The gym, jewelry store, and cafe are all on floor one. They are all surrounding the applications/help desk and can been seen as soon as you walk in if you look around. The bar is on the 21st floor, and the hang out area is on the roof.
-> My apt. number is number 32, and my level is floor 4. There are 10 apartments per floor and there are 23 stories to his hoe. And due to the businesses below on the first floor, the apartment start on the second floor.
-> We arrived back when we were 23, we are currently 27 in DR.
-> The bodies name(that hardly anyone other than strangers actually call us,) in the DR is Dakota Myers.
-> I donāt get affected by anxiety as badly or as much in this DR.
-> When we moved back, we took our black lab dog Annie, and our unclesā tortoiseshell cat skittles. Before we moved we lived with our grandparents and our uncle; they all soon died and so the responsibility of taking care of the animals was on us. And so by the time that the other dog and cat died, we just took Skittles and Annie with us.
-> I make us a steady income as an author and have made multiple books, and even made a memoir called āTales from a fractured mind.ā that sold really well along with the rest of our books. The memoir itself is a tale of our life in this DR that we wrote that helped us, and other systems, know that we DO make it out alive. Happiness is possible and that whatever feeling youāre having is complete and total isolation and fear? Yeah. Thatās not gonna last forever. There IS a pot of gold at the end of that rainbow, you just gotta wait a little while to find it. Regardless, you are going to make it.
-> As an author in this DR I have a blog that is pretty famous/popular on tumblr that is called āthe-backwards-authorā where I often give out lore tid-bits about my books, and announce things and answer questions from fans.
-> During the day we work retail at a Books-A-Million store. And because this is our DR and we can do what we want with it, this job pays us $18 an hour and has a fairly good work environment company wise. The only real problem comes with those costumers who act like Karens. And also our work schedule is from 10am to 4pm due to our very understanding boss who recognizes our disabilities and lets us work flexible hours and take breaks if/when we need too! :] And during the night we write books and edibles to sell.
-> We have a friend group full of mostly girls and one cis dude and a girls bf who is kind of clueless and just a little dumb, but heās still cool regardless. š :] Our friendsā named are Olivia, Sandra, Katlyn, Ashely, her bf Brock, and Kayden. We also hang out with somebody named Mika sometimes too! :]
-> There is also this other girl named Emily who TECHNICALLY isnāt apart of the friend group, but her and her boyfriend Jerome end up coming with us places anyways because Emily also works at the same BAM location at the second plaza that I do.
-> We often get high and have pizza at Kaydenās house, and we also as a group like to go to a bar down town together called āThe Alpine Placeā despite me insisting that the bar up at the Newport Apartment Building is much safer and more chill. But Kayden doesnāt really listen to us when alcohol is involved. The drama that goes down at The Alpine Place is pretty insane so at least we are never bored when we go there.
-> Emily wants to be a teacher and wants to go back to college to get her teaching degree but that honestly worries us because Emily doesnāt do well with kids. š Sheās not entirely mean to them or anything, sheās just really annoying sometimes and often doesnāt know how to properly correct a kid without yelling at them or yanking them to roughly away from something. Mika watched this very shit go down back when her and Emily used to work at a daycare together and it took 4-6 months of this shit before a bunch of parents started complaining one day and got her fired. ā¦The only problem was that Mika ended up going down with her because they were a two person per room type of place at the daycare they worked at and management fired Mika forā ānot bringing things to their attentionā. (Even though she did, she just wasnāt listened too until the daycaresā reputation went up into flames.)
