Empowered heart of mine, you’ve experienced the ache of what it feels like to lose what you thought was your world. You had no idea where to go or what to do. Empowered heart of mine, we’ve sat on the bedroom floor, trembling, crying out in pain. Agony. Clutching your chest in hopes that it would cease. You had no idea where to go or what to do. Would it ever stop?You didn’t understand how someone could hurt you so badly or why they would Want to. Your biggest weakness, he knew. You turned on yourself. You were desperate for acceptance all those nights. To feel cared for, to feel important, to feel loved. Empowered heart of mine, you just had to learn. You just had to learn that all you needed to do was stop and listen! You’re alive! Beating! Breathing! You needed to care for yourself, value yourself, love yourself. You needed You. Empowered heart of mine, you just realized, it’s okay to lose in life, as long as it’s not your Self. (k-tmt)
