hey btw the ableism present in every system community -- pro endo, anti endo, endo neutral, endo critical, whatever -- is because people with mental illness are denied respect and dignity. the ableism is because society is ableist and many people have not unpacked their unconscious biases towards people with severe mental illnesses. has nothing to do with what community you're in. it's just like, a material reality of living in an ableist world,

loving and getting along with and having fun with your alters doesn't make you immediately like having DID and want to keep having DID. getting along with your alters does not suddenly make having DID easy, comfortable, or fun. can we stop with the idea that if actually the people w CDDs who hate endos would treat their alters niceys that they would change their minds about endos. not only would it not change their minds it's also pretty disrespectful to other CDD systems.
