☘ : Does your muse believe in luck? How about fate?

Both, yes! Haise thinks he has some of the worst fucking luck in the world, but he tries as damnedest to stay as optimistic as he can in spite of how… awful his situation can be at times. As for fate, he thinks that there is a plan for everyone, and that - in the end - a good future is in store for every good person, especially if one tries their best.

⚯ : Does your muse have good eyesight? If not, what is it like? Are they nearsighted or farsighted? Or both? Do they use glasses? Or do they prefer contacts?

No!!!!!! Haise’s eyesight is pretty bad, and is just… constantly getting a little bit worse every day. He knows this too, but he doesn’t always wear his glasses as much as he needs to. His glasses are wire framed, and big and round. Honestly, they’re really cute and he looks good in them!! He’s also farsighted, I’m pretty sure, since he’s usually seen with his glasses on whenever he’s reading.

For an explicit headcanon of mine that’s… widely backed in canon and is very likely to become canon at some point later in the manga due to his many, many parallels with Arima, I believe that he’s slowly losing his sight and will eventually become blind. Like Arima, who developed glaucoma due to accelerated aging due to being a half human (aka, half ghoul) and was blind in one eye and was rapidly losing his vision in the other, I’m… absolutely certain that Haise/Kaneki will be dealt the same hand. Arima was the ‘One Eyed King’ (which is a HUGE deal in tg), and Haise later goes on to become the One Eyed King in Arima’s place after his death.

A panel of Arima’s sight is shown at one point, and you can explicitly see where his blind spots are versus where he can actually see - at a different point in the manga, Kaneki’s vision is shown as he’s doing work at a computer; his blindspots are the same as Arima’s.

Eyes play such an important part in Kaneki/Haise’s story, too; other than having one eye of a human and the other eye of a ghoul, Haise has undergone a severe amount of eye trauma ranging from getting needles repeatedly stabbed into the corner of them, to getting both of his eyes impaled straight out of his head (thanks Arima!), clawing his own eyes repeatedly out of his head, to getting his eyeball fucking licked by Eto during a fight. 

tl;dr: Haise has shit eyesight, is going slowly blind in one or both of his eyes, and there’s a lot of different and seriously fucked up reasons for it.

♞ : What is your muse’s favorite animal?

☃  : What is your muse’s favorite season? What about their least favorite season, if they have one?

His favourite seasons are spring and summer, because he’s gay and gets excited because that’s when all of the plants begin to bloom again! He likes spring especially because everything starts fresh and new, which is a sentiment that he appreciates. And while he doesn’t necessarily have a least favourite season, winter is usually a bit too cold for his tastes… Though he does very much enjoy the holiday season!

❤ : What are your muse’s thoughts on love? If they are not in a relationship, do they believe that they will ever find a perfect someone for them?

Haise is a HOPELESS romantic, and likes to read cheesy romance novels in his spare time since it’s usually lighter reading… He loves the idea of being wanted and cherished, and cherishing someone in return; he’s also a mushy and domestic dork and thinks that finding someone to spend your life together with is just… precious and ideal, if possible. He loves the idea of love, and tries to spread it around. He thinks that it’s the most important thing that could be in someones life, and entirely believes that it goes beyond romantic feelings - friendship and familial love are also very important to him because of this.

As for finding the perfect someone, he’s currently crushing on Celic to the point he wants to grab someone and shake them around a little bit while he tells them how sweet and understanding he is.
