Yeah, exactly! There are so many cool places in the jungle, I think you’d have a lot of fun. Hey, who says you both can’t be Animaguses… Animagi? I think that’s right. But, yeah, you could both do it!

Escape rooms are super fun! They’re this thing where you get locked in a room for an hour and basically have to solve a mystery to find your way out. I did one when we were visiting London to go to Diagon Alley and it was amaaaaazing!

Nobody says! But I feel like I should let her learn it first, it just seems right since she’s older! Those are the rules, I didn’t make them.

Ahhhh, I’m super glad to hear that. And yeah, totally. I mean, I wouldn’t go if it would make Cassie uncomfortable, but I’d like to hang out with you guys over the summer holidays. Africa is fun, but I sometimes miss being around a bunch of other people.

Oh, no, for sure. I was just kinda thinking, like… Me and my dad! We’re super similar in a lot of areas, but I don’t wanna be him. It’s about like, making your own path and stuff. Haha, you should visit me some time and I can show you how it’s done in Africa! Sorta cousin– his dad and mine grew up together, so we’re family friends. You want to be an Animagus though? That would be awesome!

Well then my fingers are totally crossed that everything goes super duper awesome for you guys! And if for some reason it doesn’t we could always do like a team fun time in Hogsmeade! Have wizards caught on with escape rooms yet? Because Muggles made them super fun, but I bet a magical one would be craaaaazy!

Totally! Like exploring a forest and wanting to go alllllll the different ways, but you can’t get to all of them and your dad can always tell you about the path he went down already so you choose a different one that’s brand new and exciting. I’d love to! I want to see all the neato places that there are. I don’t know, maybe? I feel like there aren’t very many though and Cassie totally would be a better one than me.

Wyatt: OOOOOOOOR you could get your brother or sister a Chip and then you'd be free to get whoever you want that goes with your particular Dale lol. I would love to try a floatier spell! Did you ever see that Wonka movie, with the fizzy lifting drinks? Are those real? Because that would be a real hootenanny! I doubt I have your natural skill level, ma'am, but I'd sure be willing to try.

Rachel: I'm totally scared to get Cassie pets because I think they're like pringles for her and sharing beds with pets is super cool but I want Cassie to leave enough room on her bed for HER and to take care of herself and not forget because she's got so many cute little pets! If that makes any sense. I totally worry about my sister too much! I know everyone thinks I'm super duper happy and nothing bothers me but I want other people to be super duper happy too and I know that she's NOT happy a lot and I want to fiiiiix it! Why can't magic make people happy?

Cassie: Seven best friends? That's so many! And one of them would always feel like the odd one out because the other six would pair up somehow but that's a pretty sentiment. UMMM I don't know, because tattoos are a BIG decision? You have to be 100% of what you want, not just now, but in every future that is possible, and how can you be 100% sure of something when who you'll become isn't even 100% certain? People change all the time!

Casper: damn that stupid cat! if it wasn't for that mangy thing i would have made it all the way to the library to leave a nice little present for madame pince!

Aria: Uh-huh. Fascinating. Really.

Aria: Why don't you go ask one of the house elves to help you with that. I'm sure they'd love to.

Rachel: Oh, I don't know! I mean, I used to feel guilty asking the house elves to do anything for me because it felt like I was cheating and like I was taking up time they wanted to spend on other things!!! But then I went to meet them with Wyatt and they were so nice and fun and what if I fail at the challenge and make them sad?

Ally: Oh, I would LOVE a pygmy puff! They look so adorable just perched on their owners' shoulders! Don't they sell them in Diagon Alley? Next time you're there to get school supplies, you should get one!

Rachel: They dooooo! I'm afraid that I'd scare it because it's shaped like a ball and at home I play tennis and badminton and what if I traumatize it by hitting things shaped kind of like it with my raquet?

Thanks! I wish it was pinker for a Valentine’s celebration but it’s so hard to bring enough costumes to Hogwarts to celebrate for a whole month!

For real? Ah, you’ve got no idea how glad I am to hear that, honestly. Cos, I know you guys are close and I don’t wanna make things weird with anyone. And, definitely. I’d be asking Cassie, like, if she wanted to. If she doesn’t and she just wants to be friends, I’d be okay with that too!

Oh, that makes sense, he’d totally sweep the competition if he actually competed. I dunno if anyone wants to be exactly like their parents, but you probably know her better than me! Yeah, we totally do! We’ll go swinging through the vines and I’ve got a few friends that like to go swimming with me. I’ve got a sorta-cousin who’s an elephant and he and I have this game where he’ll throw me real high in the air and I’ll dive deep into the water.

Of course! I like you a super lot, it would be awesome if Cassie liked you back and you were around our family even more! And if not you still have to come hang out and go to the festival, okay? There are friend-y things that people can do there, too!

Well, duh, I think she likes being a girl and I don’t think she wants to be in love with her mum but most of the other stuff she seems like she wants to be the same! That’s so cool, I love swinging on stuff, it’s why I love gymnastics so much. Your cousin’s an elephant? That’s so awesome, I’ve never met an elephant before but I’d love to have one of their trunks for a day. Maybe if I’m ever an Animagus I should want to be that instead of a kangaroo!

Ah! Okay, cool, cool, cool. But, would you be okay with me… asking her to Hogsmeade or something? In a not friends kinda way?

Dang, that’s awesome! I’m guessing Mary Kate’s dad does really well at the archery contest, huh? That sounds so cool! We don’t really do things like that at home, mostly cos there aren’t many human folks hanging around in the jungle.

Totes mcgoats! I think that would be super awesome as long as that’s what Cassie wants to do.

Yeah! Except he usually doesn’t compete, he just comes in and like, does guest shots to kick off the tournament because he wants to give other people a chance to win. Like Mary Kate! She’s totally wanting to be just like her dad someday. But that makes sense. Do you do fun things with jungle creatures instead?

“A backflip, really? That’s so fun! I would’ve loved to see that!” Kirsi giggled, leaning over to hug Rachel for such a glowing review. “We don’t have an official recording or anything, but I think I saw some camera phones out! So I can ask around if you want!”

“I wish there was more room in here! I could totally do one outside, though -- oooh, maybe up by the Shrieking Shack! Which has never ever shrieked, they should name it the smiling shack instead,” Rachel declared, hugging onto Kirsi tightly. “You guys should totally be more than Hogsmeade famous! We have to find like, recording goblins or something. That seems like a job goblins would be really good at, right? Running a record label?”

Cassie: There are billions of people in the world, I'm sure everything has a best friend already, if that makes you feel better! And oh gosh, I would hate that. It'd be like having a tattoo and tattoos give me heebee-jeebies. If I had to have one, I'd want it to be a bird's flying silhouette, I guess. A shuttlecock on you would be so cute! In a please-don't-get-a-tattoo-way!

Wyatt: It's crazy cute! Do you have a Chip? Do you WANT a Chip? Because being a lonely Dale sounds, well, lonely! Aww that's a bummer :( But at least I'll be able to do somersaults. I can already do cartwheels, think that'll give me an advantage?

Ally: I JUST REMEMBERED THAT I HAD CARE OF MAGICAL CREATURES TODAY!!! I can't wait to see what Hagrid has in store for us today! Aren't his lessons always wonderful?!

Rachel: OH MY GOSH YESSSS! It's one of my favorites, although my big sister likes it EVEN more than I do! I hope she has it today so that she's as smiley and excited as you.
