it keeps me up at night how hikaru's death gave 'hikaru' a chance to become human, to meet yoshiki, to learn about feelings, to enjoy good food and good movies and pet cats and become real and how 'hikaru' can't exist without hikaru's death. somebody sedate me

the biggest tragedy in tshd is how mundane hikaru's death actually is. it wasn't a monster in the mountains, it wasn't a murder, he didn't fight or run. he was just a young boy, he got distracted, he slipped. in his last moments, he wished yoshiki wouldn't be alone, he wished people wouldn't be sad over his death. the only supernatural interference was 'hikaru' taking over to grant his wishes.

andrew and aaron are so funny as a concept. no good twin evil twin they're both just evil
