Crowned Prince! OC With Knight! Reader // Take Both My Hands
Summary: The crowned prince is set to marry a princess from a neighboring kingdom, but he can't fully welcome her into his life because his knight already has his heart.
Content: Male Reader // Arranged Marriage // Angst // Sad Ending // Love Confessions
Wc: 2.3k Notes: I had this in my drafts for almost a year, and I finally decided to revisit it and finish it!! Also to add more context, I made this when the Golden Brown trend was happening since I got inspired by the idea.
OC Profile
The kingdom is bustling with joy. Bands are playing joyful songs in the plaza, citizens are crowding the streets with laughter, children are running around with smiles, and merchants are cashing in on the joy.
Everything came together to form a picture of vibrant jubilation, but these scenes are not common, and a specific event sparked the kingdom's joy.
The princess of a neighboring kingdom is being married to Ellis Rowan, this kingdom's crowned prince.
It was believed that this marriage would mark a change in the kingdom's constant struggle for power and wealth.
Once the two of them unite, then everything will change.
The kingdom will thrive, the princess will be guaranteed to be a queen, but the prince is weeping from it all.
The prince's chambers were a mess.
His bed sheets were laid across the floor, clothing tossed out of the wardrobe, and the mirror was broken with shards spread across the floor in front of it.
After his outburst, the prince is now looking out his window. He gets a clear picture of the happiness that has formed because of his future marriage. He clenches his teeth and grips the frame tightly. He knows that he should be happy too, but he can't feel that emotion.
He tries to think of the positives that are present, but his mind can only think about the negatives. He does his best to push those negative thoughts to the side, but the sight of his chambers shows that he can't.
Ellis was aware that there was no one to blame for his feelings. The marriage was a mutual agreement, and he wanted to follow through with it, but all he could think about was the life that would be taken from him if he did follow through.
The life that will be ripped away from him features his loyal knight from childhood.
The prince's eyes start to brim with tears at the mere thought of his knight. He places his right hand on his chest as it starts to heave.
For the longest time, Ellis didn't want to admit his feelings towards his knight.
A man loving another man is seen as despicable in the kingdom, but Ellis couldn't help it.
Ellis knows when his feelings started to grow, and it started when the two of you became teenagers. He recognized that his feelings weren't just admiration but love. He saw his knight as an equal. And more importantly, as a lover who would stand by his side til death.
Even with his passion, Ellis curses his love because it has turned to pain. A pain that he fears that he will take with him to his grave.
Ellis squeezes his eyes shut and closes the window with the purple curtains. He turns his back to the curtain covered window and opens his eyes to the dim room. A single flickering flame from a wax candle gives limited light to the room, but it is enough to let the prince see the glass shards in front of him. He steps over the shattered glass and walks over to his future.
His suit is hanging off a four panel folding screen. The prince clutches his hands into tight fists at the sight of the suit.
He grabs one of the soft sleeves of the suit. His fingertips trail along the fabric of the sleeve and then slowly glide to the tie. It was deep purple, not the vibrant red that he wanted. He remembers that he made the request to the tailor for a red tie, but his decision was null.
Ellis turns away from the suit and retreats back to his bed. He sinks into the mattress and waits.
Ellis closes his eyes and waits for a heaviness to settle onto his eyelids, so he can forget about everything.
Unfortunately, his waiting brings someone else.
Ellis hears a knock, and he immediately recognizes who is on the other side of the door. It was you, his loyal knight. Ellis' heart sinks from the realization.
"May I come in? You haven't left your chambers at all today," your voice reaches Ellis, and he clutches the bed sheets underneath him in frustration. He hated how worried you sounded, as if you already knew something was wrong.
Ellis didn't answer.
You stand in front of the elegant door, and you shift your weight between your feet. You were waiting for a response or for Ellis to open the door. But neither scenario occurred, and your worry was starting to build.
You give a quick knock and wait once more.
Still no answer.
You didn't want to open the door without his approval, but you couldn't wait any longer.
You decide to talk to him one more time before you open the door, "Ellis, I'm going to open the door."
Ellis presses himself deeper into the mattress, and he places his hand close to his chest and feels how fast his heart is racing.
You let out a sigh and grab the knob tightly. You twist the knob and the door clicks open. You push the door open and enter, and the sight of the room makes you stop from going any further.
Shattered glass litters the floor like a pattern, papers are torn and spread across the floor, and a few items that were once placed on the dresser are now knocked to the ground.
It was a sight that you thought you would never see.
You hastily look around the room for any sight of Ellis.
You close the door behind you, so no one can view the destruction. You let the light from the lone candle guide you as you try to find Ellis.
The sound of heavy breathing coming from the bed caught your attention, and you turn your head to the bed. You approach the bed, and you notice how the blanket shifts further away.
"Ellis," you call out to him, and he stops his movements. He stays still, but his breathing continues to stay heavy.
"What happened?"
You get no response.
"Ellis, please tell me what's wr-"
"Please... go away," you were cut off by a meek voice.
You stood still and looked at Ellis' vulnerable form. Your eyes softened because you had a feeling that his cries came from the fact that he didn't want to get married to one of the neighboring princesses. A day had not passed by since the announcement without him complaining about it. As the date got closer to the ceremony, he quieted down and started to isolate himself more frequently.
It was clear that he finally broke.
"Ellis..."
"I dismiss you!"
"Ellis, I'm not on duty yet."
The blanket starts to shift, and you are able to see Ellis' hazel eyes peek at you before covering himself again.
Ellis' heart was torn at the sight of you. You were unmasked and sitting in your casual clothing, clearly showing that you were off duty. He had to rip his eyes away from you because he knew that his mind would run wild with the recent thoughts he had about you.
"Ellis, I know she is not the one you wish to marry, but you must commit to her," you start to get closer to Ellis.
Before you can tug the blanket off of his body, he calls out to you.
"You're right... I will commit myself to her, but I have something that I must confess that has been weighing heavy on my heart before I can fully welcome her into it," Ellis' body slowly starts to rise and the blanket slips off and pools around his lap.
You are now able to see Ellis' disheveled form. You are instantly able to tell that he had been crying for hours. His eyes are irritated into a hash red, and there's a trail of dried tears on both sides of his cheeks. His hair was tangled. His robe was starting to slip off his shoulders.
You had never seen him this way before.
"Oh, Ellis," you whisper, "Tell me all that you have to say. I'll listen."
Ellis looks down, "Do you really wish to listen?"
"I'll listen. Please tell me what has caused you to create this chaos," You move closer to the bed, but you stop once you notice that he shifts away from you.
"Love."
"Love?"
The two of you grow quiet, but for different reasons. You are confused by his response, and he is wondering if he should continue.
You are the one who decides to break the silence and question his response, "Love? Your love in regards to the princess?"
"No... not quite," Ellis sighs and slowly looks over towards you, "If I tell you, can you give me your opinion? This is something that I have thought about for years, and I would finally like to hear what you think about it."
"Of course, go on," you usher him. Before he could respond, you wondered what he was going to say. You were under the assumption that he was going to speak about his thoughts on the marriage, and his anger was going to resurface.
You would have never guessed his real response.
"I'm in love with someone else."
"Another woman?"
Ellis hesitates for a moment and then shakes his head, "No, not a woman, but a man."
"A man?"
Ellis closes his eyes, "Yes, I'm in love with my knight."
"Your knight...me?"
"Yes, you."
The small amount of composure that Ellis had ends up crumbling, and he buries his face into the palm of his hands and sobs start to spill out.
"I'm a fool! I'm a damn fool! I'm in love with you!" His voice is muffled by his hands, but you can hear him clearly.
The sound of your silence caused Ellis to believe that you were disguised by his confession.
The weight of the mattress shifted as someone got on top of it. "Ellis, how long have you felt this way?" you ask him as you try to get close to him, and he lets you do so.
Ellis pulled his hands away from his face, and looked towards you, "Ever since I was thirteen, but that was when I first recognized that I didn't love you as my knight but as a lover. I think I loved you longer than that," Ellis solemnly explains as tears start to form once more.
"I see. This is why you kept complaining about the marriage."
"Yes. I was mad that they were forcing me into this marriage. I always dreamt of finding my one true love through my own accord. Unfortunately, that can never happen."
"Ellis, it's okay to feel what you feel."
"How can it be okay? It can never be okay! I'll never be able to express my love to you! Don't try to comfort me! The reality we live in will never allow your sweet words to be true!" Ellis cries out.
You look down at the ground and nod, "You're right."
Ellis thought that you were going to leave after he pushed you away, but you ended up pulling him close.
"But what knight would I be if I left you like this?"
Ellis' chin is placed on your shoulder, and his arms wrap around your torso. He was surrounded by your warmth. He finally felt safe from the world. A world that would ridicule him for his feelings. But his knight warded off that world.
The two of you stay in that embrace, but you speak to Ellis and voice your opinion.
"Ellis, I am unsure about my own feelings. I feel love towards you, but I'm not sure it's the same love that you feel..." Ellis grips your clothing and sobs into your shoulder.
"I und-understand..."
"But Ellis, I'll still stand by your side. Please, don't believe that I will turn my back on you after this. I could never leave you."
Ellis fumbles with his words, but they string together to make one phrase that is repeated multiple times and is heard each time that it is uttered.
"I love you."
⊹₊♚₊⊹
The day comes.
Nobility are seated on the pews, the lower-class are trying their best to catch a view from the outside, the pastor is ready to guide, the groom is sweating, and then the bride appears.
The wedding is starting.
The future queen loops her arm with her father's, and they slowly start to walk down the lengthy aisle that has a red carpet rolled out just for her. Ellis is standing at the end of that carpet. His eyes have only met her once. He shifts his eyes from one side of the room to the other. He tries to keep his composer because everyone is watching, except one.
Ellis was trying to find you among the sea of nobility and knights, but he couldn't see you.
Before the wedding started, he asked for your whereabouts, but no one knew where you were. Ellis wanted to see you one last time before his fate was sealed.
Ellis was oblivious to the fact that his future bride was standing before him. His heart ached at the sight of her.
Ellis stood tall but stopped for a moment to see if you were anywhere. He tilted his head down once he realized that you were nowhere.
The doors to the cathedral are shut by two knights right before the pastor starts to speak. You close one of the large doors and stand next to it. You watch from across the building as the groom and bride look at each other.
The bride's eyes start to shimmer with tears of joy.
The groom holds back his tears of sorrow.
And the knight cries tears of regret underneath the heavy helmet.
The Leader of the Gilded Angels - Angel Lucero
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Species: Human
Appearance
𓆩𓆪 Angel has tan skin with a few small scars from the fights he's been in over the years. He has short brown hair, in the style of an undercut. His hair is messy and sticks up a lot. He has black eyes.
𓆩𓆪Angel usually wears a white tank top, light blue, baggy pants, white shoes, and a gold chain. When it's colder he’ll wear a long sleeve shirt or a checkered button up.
𓆩𓆪Angel is on the leaner side with some noticeable muscles, specifically his arms since he works out that area of his body the most.
Height: 5’9 ft (175 cm)
Background info
Angel grew up in the city of Dusk, a city known for its crime but warm sun. His upbringing wasn't anything unheard of in Dusk. He grew up with both parents, but neither of them showed much attention to him or his younger brother, causing both of them to feel isolated. Angel found comfort with you at a young age since he had just started school, and even though the two of you didn’t start off on the right foot, you were the first person that showed him any attention. The two of you ended up becoming friends with one another, and it didn’t take long for the both of you to see each other as best friends.
Eventually, Angel would find his place in a gang once he entered his teenage years. It’s unknown how he came into contact with these types of people, but it can be assumed that they preyed on him due to his desire to fit in.
The two of you would stop being friends once Angel sought to integrate you into the gang he was in, but you declined his offer until you stopped being friends with him eternally.
As the years went on, Angel ended up growing his own gang within the one he was already in. Angel eventually overtook the gang he was in, and was able to build his own: The Gilded Angels. The gang grew in significant numbers over his high school years since he was able to recruit people at his high school and neighboring ones.
When Angel becomes an adult, the gang is still thriving and has even branched out to other cities besides Dusk.
Strength
Angel is charming, and it’s one of the main reasons he was able to get so many people into his gang at such a young age. He has a strategy for recruitment. He would first look for teenagers who are his age, he would then gauge whether or not they would be the type to join a gang - if they did he would keep talking to them, if they didn’t then he would stop and keep that person at a distance unless they had something else to offer - he would eventually offer a position to the former group of people. It wouldn’t be blunt, and it would come naturally in conversations. Angel would eventually stop doing this once he became an adult, and would task the job to younger members.
But Angel's charm is still present even as an adult, especially when it comes to making transactions with other gangs or individuals in the criminal world.
Weakness
It’s going to sound cheesy, but Angel's biggest weakness is you and his little brother.
The two of you are fragments of who he once was before he turned to gang life. Angel did all this to be accepted by more people, but you and his brother are a testament that he really didn’t need to change himself because the two of you accepted him.
It hurts Angel even more knowing that he lost you while he was trying to change himself. He gained so many followers, but he lost a friend in the process.
Angel’s little brother doesn’t know much about what his older brother does, so he still loves him regardless. But it hurts Angel knowing that his little brother doesn’t know this side of him, but is grateful that he still has him.
Extra facts:
𓆩𓆪Growing up Angel was a troublemaker, but he didn’t do it with bad intentions, he just wanted attention from teachers or other children.
𓆩𓆪The reason why the two of you fought in kindergarten was because you took some of his crayons without asking, which caused both of you to argue with each other, the teacher had to break you two up and make the both of you apologize to each other.
𓆩𓆪Angel’s parents know what he does, and they know how long he's been doing it for, but don’t care enough to talk to him about it.
𓆩𓆪Angel and his brother have a ten year gap between each other, which would make his brother eighteen
𓆩𓆪Once you moved away for college, Angel still thinks about you. He thinks about what your dorm life was like, if you partied, or if you met any women.
𓆩𓆪The Gilded Angles have a hierarchy within the gang: if you wear white, you’re the fourth tear - an Angel, if you wear blue, you’re the third tear - a messenger, if you wear gold, you’re the second tear - an archangel. Angel wears all three, indicating that he is the leader.
𓆩𓆪The Gilded Angles were able to expand to other cities like: Dawn and Sunset, but Dusk still has the highest number of members.
𓆩𓆪For being a gang leader, Angel does have a few morals. He doesn’t condone the dealing of drugs by members of his gang - gang members can still take drugs. He doesn’t condone killings, but a few have happened. As he gets closer to his thirties, Angel is looking to reform the gang into a community instead of a dangerous street gang. But it’s hard to tell if this change will happen smoothly.
𓆩𓆪Angel has slowed down the number of people he accepts into the gang.
𓆩𓆪He hosts street races, but this is minimal given how much he has to do to not get caught
𓆩𓆪Angel lives in a duplex, the other unit is also owned by him, but it doesn’t have anyone living in it.
𓆩𓆪Angel has a street name that was given to him by some of his members, and his identity isn’t readily known except by those who are considered archangels. He’s been dubbed as the Serpent, and outsiders also call him this.
𓆩𓆪He has connections to other groups like the Iron Curtain - who he is close with.

I had this in my drafts for a year or two now, and I have finally found the time to finish it and edit it! I'm planning on hopefully making this a full story next year. I already have a rough drafts of how the story is supposed to go and a list of characters. I'll try to work on chapters later on this year.
OC Profile
●You and Angel have known each other since the two of you were in kindergarten. At first, the two of you didn’t like each other, but during the third grade, the two of you slowly became friends. It got to the point where everyone at school knew about your friendship.
●The two of you would go over each other’s houses and play different games. Most of it consisted of old school video games or card games where the two of you made up your own rules. It would get rather hectic at times, with the cards being thrown around the room. But those game nights were unforgettable to the two of you.
●Middle school was mostly the same. Everyone knew that the two of you were each other's BFF, and you still went over each other’s homes. This time the two of you got the privilege to travel around the city on your bikes.
●It was all going great, but then Angel started to engage in illegal activity. You didn’t know about it until one day he invited you out. You thought it was another regular hangout on your bikes.
Angel opened the short gate to your home, and walked through your front yard. Your front yard was filled with a mixture of brown and green grass and your bike propped up by the gate. He skipped up the steps and quickly knocked on the metal black door. It didn’t take long for you to come and open up the door.
“C’mon, remember I’m gonna take you somewhere,” Angel told you before going down the steps.
“Alright, wait,” you closed the door and went over to your own bike that was laying in the front yard. The two of you picked up your bikes and left your home.
The two of you biked throughout the neighborhood. The sun was burning, and you regretted not putting on some sun screen, but you told yourself it would all be worth it. Angel was going to show you an awesome hangout spot, after all.
The two of you made it to a house. You were rather disappointed since you were expecting something cooler, than a house that mostly looks like your own.
The house on the outside looked… okay. Sure, the chain linked fence was broken in some areas, the grass was neglected and dead, the door looked worn down, the windows had accumulated a heavy layer of dust, but it was passable.
You trusted that Angel knew what he was doing.
He knocked on the door, but in a specific pattern. They had a secret code to get in? That’s pretty cool!
The two of you stood outside for a few seconds before the door opened, but then it stopped. You were met with someone’s eye. They looked you up and down before unlatching the lock on the flimsy door and letting the two of you in.
”Angel!” A man yelled out before getting up from the couch and walking over to him. He draped his arm over your friend and brought him close to his cheat. The two of them exchanged greetings with each other. Until the older man looked over to you. You started to feel nervous because as they talked you took notice of all the adults and the state of the house, and it started to set off alarms in your mind.
A few of the men walked sluggishly and stumbled around the house. The women were close to being nude, and some were in a few of the men’s laps. The sight made you uncomfortable.
The outside of the house looked better than the inside. The inside of the house was worse for wear. Holes decorated the walls, there were bottles of alcohol laid across the floor, food was piled up around the house, and the furniture's leather was slowly peeling off.
Then your heart stopped.
You noticed something sticking out of the waistband of one of the men. You were surprised you didn’t notice it until now. The object that caught your attention was a gun. It was a handgun. You didn’t know the model of it, but it was a real gun.
How did Angel get involved with these people?
●On your way back from the hangout, you argued with Angel. You didn’t want him hanging around with those adults. He refused to listen to you, and left you by yourself.
●The two of you separated from each other. A friendship that could’ve lasted forever was now nothing. People quickly took notice of the two of you no longer being side by side with one another.
●Well, how did you take the separation? You didn’t take it all that well. You saw Angel as your only true friend, so being without him made you feel isolated.
●How did Angel take it? He was more pissed than anything. He was mad that you tried to change his mind. He chose this life, so what about it?
●High school came around and both of you kept a distance from one another. It even seemed as if others forgot how close the two of you were. But neither of you forgot.
●The two of you became associated in different cliques. Angel was associated with the students who have bad grades, skip class, take drugs, fight, participate in gang activity - and anything else negative. You didn’t have a clique, instead opting to hangout with different groups since your welcoming, helpful attitude drew people to you.
●Over the course of high school, Angel got an idea. At this point, it was well known on and off the campus that he was a gang leader. Starting his gang and quickly recruiting students into it.
●This gave Angel an idea. An idea that would bring you over to his side.
●He started to send out his gang to recruit you
●Angel is the one to break the silence between the two of you. He does his best to recruit you into his gang. Except, he didn’t take into account your new personality.
The sun started to set, and you were the only one around on the street. You walked along the sidewalk with the intent to go home and sleep. You had to stay after school for a club activity, but you didn’t mind.
Your faint footsteps were drowned out by the sound of cars passing by, other people walking, dogs barking, birds chirping, and the flickering of street lights. All these sounds carried the image of a noisy neighborhood.
You stood by a curb, waiting for the light to change so you could walk to the other side of the street. When the green figure popped up on the screen you started to walk, but someone tugged on the back of your collar. It made you stop.
”Do you think you’re too good for us, (L/N)?”
The harsh voice catches your attention, and you look over to see one of the members of Angel’s gang. At this point, they weren’t a clique anymore, but an actual neighborhood gang. They called themselves the Gilded Angels. They even had a color that is associated with them. Their colors being white, blue, and gold.
The people who approached you wore white clothing, indicating that they were of the lowest ranking.
”Maybe. Why do you care? Let me guess, Angel sent you, didn’t he?” You asked with a harsh tone, as you watched the red hand appear, now you had to wait for your chance again.
The guy stuffs his hands into his pockets, “Yeah, he did.”
Another person steps up, “Why do you have to make this so hard, (L/N)? It’s so easy to join us! Our leader just wants you to join!” He sounded more persuasive, but not by much.
The light turns green, and you walk off. Not giving them a verbal answer, but rather a silent one.
●Your lax attitude towards his gang was surprising to say the least. Angel thought you would be squirming from the sight of them walking up to you.
●But the constant harassment of Angel sending out his gang eventually got to you. You switched schools during your senior year, and left to a neighboring school. Angel wanted to go looking for you, but that neighborhood didn’t belong to his gang, so he decided to let it go, for now that is.
●Eventually Angel’s gang gained control of more territory around the city. Not to mention his gang wasn’t a small neighborhood gang anymore. They became notorious over the years. Drive-bys, money laundering, drug dealings, group fights, and robberies were all connected to them.
●This caused Angel to become an illusive figure within the city and even across the nation. He kept his whereabouts a secret with only a few knowing where he is located.
●After years of not seeing each other, a few of his veteran members told him that they spotted you around the neighborhood. Angel had to see it to believe it, and asked for a picture of you.
”It’s really him,” Angel mumbled under his breath as he took in the sight of you. Angel was under the assumption that you left for another state or city, so why are you walking around the neighborhood?
”Give me his location,” Angel orders the five members that are around him, “I want to pay an old friend a visit.” He finishes as he tucks the picture into his pocket.
The Crowned Prince - Ellis Rowan
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Species: Human
Appearance
-Has fair skin, but has a few scars because prince's go through their own training, but it is not as rigorous as the training knights have to go through.
-Has rather long hair for a prince. His hair reaches his shoulders and is wavy. His hair is light brown and his eyes are hazel.
-Wears his usual royal attire. He wears modest colors, a contrast to the royal purple his parents made him wear when he was younger. He wears long capes, some of them even reach his ankles. He still wears jewelry, but not as much as before. He mostly wears his rings.
-He stands at 5,8 (172 cm)
-His body is rather lean, and he gets mad at the fact that he doesn't have prominent muscles.
Background
Ellis Rowan is the crowned prince of his kingdom. This would make you think that this title of future king would go to his head, and you would be correct to an extent.
At a young age, Ellis was acting as one of the grown-ups. He picked up their mannerisms, what they found funny, and took on more responsibilities than he should've. The people around the palace praised him for showing such maturity at a young age. Ellis did act like his age, but this would cause adults in the palace to talk badly about him. Causing him to constantly seek out opportunities to act mature even though he just wanted to laugh and have fun.
Over time this type of mindset took a toll on Ellis. He wanted to prove himself to be mature, but as he grew older he stopped caring about it. He didn't care if one of the maids caught him clinging on to you, or if one of the butlers saw him laughing at a childish joke you made. He didn't care to impress them like before, he was still going to be king, after all.
This caused him to develop a dismissive attitude towards others. He cared so much about other's opinions when he was younger, but at one point that stopped when he became older. Now, he's a dismissive prince, but he's fine being that way.
Strength
Ellis is made to be a leader. He has a commanding presence whenever he walks into a room. People stop and look at him, even though he didn't ask for their attention. This strong presence causes him to be able to command people without hassle. People will hardly argue with him. Even if they do, then he'll argue back. He won't back down.
Weakness
Ellis is dismissive of people. You were one of the few lucky people who didn't experience this side of him. Ellis turns a blind eye to others, causing him to have a lack of friendships and connections within the palace. This causes him to be lonely and to cling on to you more.
Extra Facts
♠Even though he brags to others about becoming the new king, he worries about it often. Wondering if he will be cut out to be a respectable king.
♠His parents are mostly absent. Ellis believed that this didn't impact him, but once he became an adult he later came to terms that it did impact him negatively.
♠Ellis makes his maids and butlers teach him basic skills. He does this so he isn't hopeless. (Also, because he had thoughts about leaving the kingdom and being on his own)
♠He doesn't talk to his aunts, uncles, cousins, or grandparents. They live in the palace but they're ghosts to him.
♠Wished to live by himself instead of with all the relatives, maids, and butlers.
♠He is an only child.
♠He is barely allowed to go outside because they don't want him to get hurt. If he does go out, then a group of knights surround him.
♠His favorite color is red. He finds it to be a color more suited for royalty, than the purple he was forced to wear when he was younger.

Crowned Prince! OC with Knight! Reader
Male reader// Growing up together// Childhood friends// Light angst
OC Profile
●You've known the crowned prince ever since you were seven years old. It wasn't because you were related or a noble. It's because you were his knight. Given the responsibility at age seven to lay your life down for him.
●Of course, it wasn't just you protecting the crown prince. There were more skilled knights by his side, as well. So why were you there? Well, the past Kings and Queens born into the Rowan bloodline have a history of having a knight assigned to them that is their same age. Why? As a form of companionship.
●At a young age, your caregivers sent you off to a camp where young knights were trained. Most of the recruits came from broken homes or needed extra cash. It was brutal the further you went up in level. Even young recruits faced harsh challenges.
●Everything was going fine, but then a special day came. Specifically, for the kids in your age group. The day for the crown prince to pick his knight. You didn't understand fully. And you didn't care either. It didn't matter to you if you got picked or were passed up, in your mind you were to be a knight for the people.
Multiple men made long strides into the camp where the knights were held. Then they stopped suddenly. Your group was called in and were commanded to stand and line up. You found a random place towards the middle of the line. You stood proud and strong. Even if you didn't care, you still wanted to give it your all. He was still the prince of the land, after all.
The prince emerged from the group of men. He was dressed in purple, silk clothing. He wore a few pieces of gold jewelry that shone under the hot sun. His hair was perfectly styled which contracted the knights in-training, who either lacked hair or had it tangled. But even with all these layers of perfection, his heavy black boots made it hard for him to walk properly. You stifled a laugh. He looked ridiculous to you.
The young prince went down the line, and he didn't make a comment on any of the knights. It was hard to tell what he was thinking. He made a quick routine of looking at a fellow knight, before going on to the next one. Some of the knights were filled with hope that they made an impression on the prince, even though they didn't do much to achieve it.
Then the prince came to you.
You didn't bother to stand up taller, or puff your chest out to look bigger, and you didn't try to look intimidating to him. You didn't change one bit once the prince approached you.
You were certain that this lack of engagement would make the prince look the other way.
"You. I want you to be my knight," the prince pointed at you.
Your eyes widened in shock at the finger being pointed at you. This couldn't be. You barely even bothered to do anything. Why did he pick you?
The other knights whispered to each other. Amused at the prince's pick. It was clear to the other knights that you didn't care very much about the monarchy. You spoke about being a town's guard, and you detested being put in a castle all day watching over one person. You wanted to take to the streets and protect the citizens of the kingdom.
●Your routine from that day forward was to be a playmate to the prince, but once you got older your responsibilities would be upgraded.
Teenage Years
●During your teenage years, you started to train more thoroughly. This is what you wanted. But Ellis didn't like it all that much. Why? Well, it was because he missed you.
●Ellis grew up to be clingy towards you and only you.
●He got so used to having you right by his side, but now you're off training for hours on end. Only coming back once the moon came up.
●When you did come back Ellis would force you to stay with him in his room. Causing a new routine to take place.
"(YYY/NNN), come be with me!" Ellis exclaims as he grabs you by the arm. You jerk your arm back which only makes him whine in response.
"Why? What's with this sudden change?" You ask your prince while eyeing him up and down. He was giving you his iconic puppy eyes, trying to use them against you.
You let out an exasperated sigh, "Alright, come on, prince."
"Thank you!" He jumps on you, putting you in a backbreaking hug.
●During this time, Ellis started to question what he felt towards you. He was starting to become a young adult slowly but surely, and this meant new responsibilities.
●He would hear discussions about how he would marry once he reached his twenties. Different princesses from various kingdoms asked for a chance to meet him. He would meet these princesses, but none truly piqued his interests.
●He would think about one person, and that was his loyal knight. You wouldn't be present during these meetings, but you were still there in Ellis' mind.
●This is when Ellis' made the discovery that he might have a crush on you. He didn't want to admit it. It would be taboo. A prince liking a male knight? That type of love wouldn't last.
●He was forced to keep his love a secret.
Adult years
●Ellis was able to keep his crush (mostly) a secret. Ellis wasn't that good at hiding it. Inviting his knight to his chambers late at night? Hugging his knight? Worrying about his knight? Waiting for his knight late into the night? The previous princes cared for their knights, but never to this extent.
●Ellis was set to marry soon. He didn't pick a princess so one was picked for him.
●Ellis complained on and on about the event to you.
"I can't believe they would do this to me! I am the crown prince, their future king! Shouldn't I have the power to pick who I marry, at least!" Ellis ranted about the decision of having to marry a woman he never cared to remember the name of.
"Don't be that way. She's a nice girl. And if you're the king, then you could divorce her. But..." you trailed off, thinking about the consequences of how a divorce will be perceived by the masses.
Ellis reverts his eyes away from you. He couldn't stare at you for long. Just looking at you made him want to confess his love. You were so perfect. As if you were made for him.
"I'll...figure it out. I hope..."
Ellis walks away from you and goes into one of the winding hallways that will take him to his chamber. He wasn't acting like his usual self. It was a depressing sight to see, one that ripped your heart apart.
●On the day of his wedding, you stood by his side like always. But Ellis was saddened. You didn't look fazed in the slightest. To you this was just another day, but to Ellis his freedom to love was going to be taken the moment his bride walked down the aisle.
●It was unfair. But this was how it's supposed to be. He was always supposed to rule with his queen, never with his knight.
●You sat in the front row. Ellis closed his eyes and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. You watched on with dissatisfaction.

♡Has fluffy hair that curls at the end.
♡Has bunny ears and a cottontail. His ears and tails are the same color as his hair. They are both soft to the touch.

Background
Mylo doesn't know his parents, and he has been living at the shelter his whole life. His youngest memories are filled with the grey walls of the shelter and many faces that aren't around anymore.
As he grew older and became an adult, he wondered what would happen to him. Adult hybrids are just as popular as the children. Mylo knew there was a good chance of him being adopted, but the thought of who it could be made him scared. He's heard stories of owners mistreating their new companion. He didn't want to end up as another news headline of hybrid abuse.
Strength
Being cautious might seem like a weakness, but it can be a powerful attribute to have. Mylo is highly cautious, and this stems from his fear of being mistreated. He knows that he has to watch over himself because there are people out there who can hurt him. There have been people who wanted to adopt him and take him back home. But deep down in his stomach, he could feel that something wasn't right.
Mylo felt that same feeling towards you, but once he saw your smile and gentle mannerisms, he knew that you were a kind soul. He was still cautious because he knew it could all be a front. But it took a month for Mylo to know that you meant well.
Weakness
Mylo's timid nature has caused him to be picked on at the shelter. As he grew older, it stopped. But this timidness holds him back at times. He wished at times he could be more open to others and shout his feelings out loud.
He still feels this way even after leaving the shelter. He wished that he could be more upfront about his feelings towards you and tell you everything he feels. But he quickly gets shy and backs out. Causing his thoughts to be left unheard.
Extra Facts
♡ Mylo is a rather popular choice when it comes to adopting.
♡ Mylo often watches the news on the TV.
♡ Mylo has been adopted twice but left both times. The first time was when he was sixteen, and the reason for him leaving was because the couple always had arguments. The second time was when he was twenty, and his reason for leaving was because his owner wanted a relationship with him.
♡ Mylo wonders why he wasn’t just born a regular bunny.
♡ Mylo wished he knew his parents.
♡ Mylo gives a lot of affection once he finds someone he likes.
♡ Mylo didn't have many friends at the shelter. Mainly because of his timid nature.
♡ Mylo doesn’t understand certain things in human culture since hybrids have different cultural norms.
♡ Mylo took your last name after being adopted since he went by his previous owner’s last name, but he wanted yours instead.

OC Profile
●You've been feeling rather stressed out at work, and you always come home to an empty house every day. It's a monotone routine every day. You brought this issue up with friends, and they told you that the best solution would be getting a companion, or in other words, a hybrid.
●You personally didn't like the idea. The idea of having a hybrid is an issue that has divided people for a long time. Some support it, and others see it as something that shouldn't happen at all. You were always on the fence about it, but maybe it would be best to get one.
●You go into the shelter and are met with a woman who then guides you into a room. It was a room where the two of you will discuss what type of companion you would like. Did you want a dog hybrid? Maybe a cat hybrid? How about a bunny hybrid? Maybe a hybrid that isn't popular with the masses?
●You decided to take the bunny hybrid. You always wanted a pet bunny, but you didn't know you would get it in another form.
●The woman excuses herself, and in a few moments, she's back with a man. He stands at average height with a lean figure. His sun-kissed skin complements his honey, blond hair, and brown chocolate eyes. He looked like any other human, but once your eyes looked up you’ll see his floppy bunny ears. He looked at you with wide eyes.
"Who is this?" The hybrid asks as his honey colored ears twitch in curiosity. He cupped his hands close to his chest and moved closer to the woman. He was clearly scared about what was going to happen.
"He wants to take you home, Mylo!" The woman exclaims, hoping to make the bunny feel better,"C'mon! Don't stand there, say hi."
"H-Hello..." Mylo shyly greets you as he takes a small step towards you.
●The first meeting wasn't the best, but you couldn't blame Mylo. You would be scared, too, if you were in his situation.
●Given that Mylo didn't decline your offer, it meant that you could take him home. You filled out the paperwork with the woman as Mylo curiously looked at all the papers he couldn't read. After all of that, you could finally take Mylo back home.
●The first few weeks were rather awkward since you were getting used to your new companion. Mylo was also getting used to it.
●Mylo would hide away from you and keep himself occupied within his room. He would only come out when you left for work or when you went to go run an errand. He didn't feel fully comfortable being near you.
●You didn't force Mylo to talk or to be with you. You held out hope that within due time, he would slowly get used to you. You couldn't blame him either for the way he felt. You've heard stories of hybrids being abused within their adopted homes. You just hoped that Mylo would find out that he was safe with you.
●It took about a month before you noticed a change. Mylo started to sit next to you on the couch and during dinner. He even started talking to you! It was a small step, but you felt so proud.
●When Mylo started to interact with you, he didn't notice how gentle you actually were. Your voice was filled with love and care. Your touch was soft and comforting. He couldn't believe that this was what he was missing out on for a month.
●During the second month, Mylo was the definition of a cuddly bunny. He pounced on you when you came back home, holding you in a tight hug. He showered you with compliments. He stuck by your side at all times. Mylo wanted to show you all the love that he withheld from you.
●Within due time, the two of you were inseparable. You started to take Mylo on trips so he could see the world, you shared your favorite things with him, and you even let him sleep in your bed at night. It was clear that the two of you loved each other very much.
●Mylo now had a place to permanently call home thanks to you taking him in, and now your house felt more like a home with the help of Mylo's presence. The two of you found home within each other.

The (obsessive) wife - Alison Cervi
Gender: Female
Age: Ranges based on the story but usually between 23-30 years old
Ethnicity: Italian and German
Species: Human
Appearance
◇Alison has chocolate brown eyes. If the sun hits them, they start to give off a hazel color.
◇Alison has a fair complexion. She has freckles, which are mostly located on her back, but some are on her cheek and the bridge of her nose.
◇She has blond locks of hair that run down to the middle of her back. Her hair is straight, and she leaves it down for the most part. Once she reaches her 30s, she doesn't touch up her roots anymore and cuts her hair short.
◇5'6 (167 cm), but she usually wears heels, so she looks 5'8 (172 cm)
◇She usually wears cute, colorful blouses that are off the shoulder. She wears a skirt that compliments her top and regularly wears black flats with them. She would also wear dresses with simple patterns. When she gets her job, she starts to wear heels and regular office clothes.
Background
Alison is from a middle-class family. Both her parents work and aren't home very often. She has no siblings, so she is by herself on most days. While her parents are gone, she goes around town and does errands. When she's done taking care of those, she goes back home to cook, clean, and take care of anything else. She's learned to become independent at a young age, given her parents' absence.
Growing up, she was shy and timid, but well liked among her classmates. Unfortunately, (to her at least) she never had a boyfriend. She had crushes on many boys at school, but she was never in a relationship. But she isn't naive in regards to them, she knows a lot. She knows what a lover should and shouldn't do. Her knowledge stems from her friends' personal experiences and from the media she watches.
Given that platonic love from parents and romantic love was absent in her life. She doesn't know how to manage meaningful relationships. Friendships were her only form of any type of love, but that love soon leaves. Given that after graduating high school, she stopped talking to her friends.
Even though her knowledge is quite extensive given that she was never in a relationship before, she didn't understand it fully. She believes that a lover should be clingy. To always be by their lover's side, even though that type of advice only leads to an unhealthy dependency. She's been independent for practically her whole life. Why can't she just depend on one person? She sees nothing wrong with her way of loving.
Strength
Given that Alison has a more malicious side to her, she is able to cover this up with ease. She naturally falls into the archetype of a shy, timed girlfriend who is overly clingy. Something that isn't seen as wrong in front of the masses. Letting her get away from any consequences that her actions might cause.
Weakness
Her clinginess is her weakness. She can't be without her lover. It's impossible for her. It's possible for her to go back to being independent once more, but now that she found comfort in you, she just can't go back. When you're gone from this world, the clock on Alison's own life will be counting its last hours soon after yours are done. Her dependence towards you will kill her.
Extra facts
◇Has a good reputation at work. Even though some of her coworkers feel a sense of unease while around her.
◇Sometimes cooks for her darling, but she's a bit rusty given that she left the cooking to you
◇Her Favorite color combo is blue and white. She would usually dress in these colors.
◇Dogs bark at her when she walks by them. Owners apologize to her because she looks like an ordinary woman, but the dogs know there is something more to her.
◇Before entering her 30s, she used to get her hair done at the salon every two weeks. She left that behind after getting a corporate job because she doesn't feel the need to impress anyone anymore.
◇She is very into fashion and sometimes gets fashion magazines to read while she's at home or on her lunch break.
◇Doesn't bother making friends or talking to her parents. Her darling is enough for her.

OC Profile
●Nick was a salaryman. Outsiders with standards for jobs would see his company as a prime example of corporate greed. One that abuses its works on a daily basis. Nick seemed to take it well, but in reality, he was falling apart on the inside.
●Day in and out, he had nothing to look forward to. In reality, there were more things he dreaded. He dreaded coming late to work, getting more work that won't count towards his pay, and getting assigned jobs that didn't even fit his job description. It’s a miserable life to live.
●For years, Nick's only ambition was to survive. He had no intentions of climbing the corporate ladder because that only meant more responsibilities. He didn't have any hobbies or a favorite person in his life. It was just him and his meek will to survive.
●Then he met you. He locked eyes with you at the park. It was rare for him to have a day off, but he went to the park this time. He heard online that being with nature can clear your mind of stress. He decided to take the chance since he really didn't have much to lose.
●You were painting. Nick didn't know what, but he could guess it was the park. He took a seat on a nearby bench and watched you. He didn't know it, but you caught on to his staring.
"Like what you see?" You asked Nick as you walked by him, holding all your supplies. You were leaving the park with your new creation in hand, but you wanted to talk to the stranger who was watching you the whole time.
Nick sat in shock. He saw you coming his way, but he didn’t think that you would stop to confront him. You were around the same height as him, but given that he was sitting down, you towered over him. Your shadow casted over his weak form, and Nick started to get nervous. A thin sheen of sweat started to appear on his forehead, and he looked away from you.
You took notice of his nervous look and tried to ease him. "I didn't mean it like that! I just noticed that you were watching me, I found that... interesting?" You questioned your own statement, but Nick didn't notice it.
He could feel his heart start to beat faster the longer you stood in front of him. He studied how you looked, and he knew he didn't want you leaving.
Maybe you're what he needs in his life?
"C-can I have your number?" Nick asks with a stutter. Luckily, you found it to be cute.
"Sure, I don't mind," you said, waiting for him to take out his phone, and you started to say your number out loud as he typed it in. "I also come by the park every Wednesday at around four. I know it's an unconventional time since I'm guessing you have a regular job. But we can meet up here if you would like?"
Nick only nodded his head at what you said. You nodded your head too and waved, "I'll see you around, new friend."
●From that day forward, Nick would try to take Wednesdays off. It was hard, but he was able to do it somehow.
●Nick would sit next to you and watch you paint. He would watch you meticulously paint every small detail. From the people passing by, the buildings in the far horizon, the droplets of water from the fountain, and the brightness of the sun. It was all so different, but together, they formed a marvelous painting thanks to your blessed hands.
●It helped Nick relax.
●At times, he would lay down on the grass and fall asleep. When he woke up, he would still see you next to him. It made his heart flutter that you stayed for him. You wouldn't leave him behind like how the rest of the world did.
●Nick wanted to see you more often and at other places. The two of you started to go to artist alleys and anywhere that would give you inspiration.
●Seeing your love to paint gave him inspiration. It was hard to explain for Nick. Ever since he got out of high school, he's never felt this feeling of inspiration. Did your life just inspire him?
●Nick couldn't quit his job. He needed it even though it killed him physically and mentally. But with you now in his life, it felt brighter. He has found his favorite person after believing that they never existed.
Obsessive! Wife OC With Reader
Obsessive behavior // oblivious reader // meeting you // dating you // and married life
OC Profile
Meeting you
●Alison was a normal woman. That was until she met you, and you completely re-wired her brain. Making her feel a deeper sense of obsession that she had never felt before. Fooling herself into thinking it was love.
●She can still remember that day so clearly after years. She gets a little mad when she asks you if you remember, and you respond with a simple. "Sorry, honey, my mind is a little foggy." But either way, she holds that day close to her heart.
●You were a simple baker working for your family's bakery. She walked into the establishment to pick up some bread. She usually didn't go there, but the bakery she usually went to closed early for the day. She had to go somewhere else. And she's lucky she did.
●You were putting different pastries in the display case. Your whole attention snapped over to the door once you heard the bell ring. Alison thought your reaction was that of a puppy looking for its owner. It was cute.
●You were polite and nice. Any other person would see it as normal and go about their day. But Alison couldn't stop thinking about you. She wasn't sure why. She frantically wrote in her diary.
Dear Diary, I'm not sure why, but the boy at the bakery is all over my mind. I can't stop thinking about him! Sure, he was cute and nice, but he wasn't anything special. Now that I write that down, it hurts me. I take it back! Maybe he is special. Is this a crush? It feels like one, but it feels so different, too. It feels more powerful. Am I in love?
●She would document her feelings day in and day out. The diary was purely filled with thoughts about you.
●One day, she had enough. Her crush wasn't going away, so she needed to do something.
●She decided to ask you out.
●It's been months at this point since she started visiting the bakery, so you knew her name and her usual order.
●On that fateful day, she walked in with more confidence than usual and stood tall and proud.
"Hi, Alison! How was your day?" You happily ask as you go to get a bag to pack her order.
"Go out with me."
Your eyes widened. It took you a second to process. It didn't sound like a question. It was like a command. Something you had to do.
"Excuse me?" You ask, maybe you didn’t hear, right? She didn't just say what you thought she did.
"Would you like to go out with me?" Alison took a nicer approach. She was aware that she sounded forceful. She knew if she wanted you to go on a date with her, she would have to be nice.
"Oh! Ummmm..."
Alison could feel her heart pounding in her ears, and she could feel her face go red. Were you going to actually reject her? She didn't think this far. She assumed that you would agree.
Maybe you had someone else in mind, and if so, then who? Was she better than Alison? No, that couldn't be. She was nice, beautiful, caring, hardworking, and so much more. There is no way that someone could beat her in winning your heart.
"Sure! But is it okay if we... take it slow? I've never been in a relationship before. But I would love to go out with you."
Alison's face exploded in a bright blush. For a second, she thought that you would say no, but now you're all hers! Even if you didn't know it yet.
Dating you
●Alison was very clingy with you. This was your first relationship, so you didn't see much wrong with it. You thought it was normal.
●Alison started to put 'light' restrictions on you. You chalked it up to her being overprotective of you. She just wanted to keep you safe, right?
●Some of these main restrictions were giving you a curfew, only seeing a few select friends, and always having your location on.
●In your mind, you saw the curfew as something cute. Your girlfriend just wanted you to be back at a safe time. Nothing malicious, it was actually good for you.
●You did understand her viewpoint when it came to your friends. Some of them weren't the best influence, but she still let you see your best friend, so that's not so bad.
●You heard of couples and even friends who share their locations to make sure they’re safe. So that last one didn't sound out of the ordinary for you.
●Unfortunately, these small restrictions opened up the gates for harsher ones. She wanted you to sleep at her house and only her house. You couldn't go out some days with friends since those days were for Alison only. And without knowing, Alison would follow you around with the help of your location being shared with her at all times.
●Alison used your oblivious nature and your lack of relationships to her advantage. She played all of this off as her loving you so much that she can't be without you. That's what a relationship is all about, right? Being overly clingy to the point that your lover has no room for themselves? Definitely not, but you didn't know any better.
● You happily let her impose these restrictions because you thought it was okay. Even when your friends and family told you it was a little overboard, you played it off. Saying that's just how your girlfriend shows her affection.
●Alison did her best not to harm others or give them a bad opinion about her. Some thought she was odd, but as long as they didn't see her as malicious, then everything would be fine.
●Alison played into her role well. Twisting her obsessive behavior into something positive to your friends and relatives. Once they talked to her, they would leave with the vision of an overly worried girlfriend who just wants to be with her boyfriend.
Marriage
●It only took three years for Alison to put a ring on your finger. Yes, Alison did that. Alison knew that you would be too nervous to even drop down to one knee, so she did it herself. But when talking about it to family and friends, the two of you said that you were the one to propose.
●At this point, Alison has a stable job at a regular corporate job. But you? You stayed at home.
●The last thing Alison wanted was for you to get a job. That bakery job? She made you drop it once the two of you got married.
●Now, you stay at home and take care of the house. You cook, clean, and tend to your wife when she comes back home.
●You felt content... but you did want to work. But you didn't bring it up to Alison, not after the first time. She lost her mind when you suggested that you wanted a job. She accused you of not loving her, not seeing her as enough, wanting to leave her completely.
"You know... I was thinking recently..." you told her as you cooked the food on the stove. The chicken sizzling in the pan, almost ready to be served on the beautiful fine China she brought for you.
"What's going on in your beautiful mind, darling?" She questions as she takes off her heels. Before she puts them away in your shared bedroom, she stands in the kitchen entrance to hear what you have to say.
"Well... I'm just thinking of getting a job... what do you -" You were caught off since when you turned around, you saw Alison right next to you. Your heart almost jumped out of your chest. How did you not hear her?
"Why would you say that? I know! I'm not enough, right? You want another woman to fulfill your needs, right? If that's what you want, then be my guest! You can leave!"
Her voice echoes off the walls, and you become frightened. She never got like this before, and it's scaring you. Why is she acting this way?
Your eyes become downcast, "Im... sorry, honey. It's fine! I can stay here. It was just a thought, after all."
You go back to cooking, and you don't look at her. You're too scared to. What if she decided to hurt you?
"It's okay, darling. I just want you here at home. You're the first person I want to see, you know!"
She gives you a quick kiss on your cheek before picking up her heels and leaving.
Leaving you in the kitchen a confused and frightened mess.
●Alison made you stay at home for one main reason: she just can't let you out into the working world. There are so many people who could hurt you! Your boss could make you stressed. Other people could flirt with you! And you'll be so busy with your job that you won't have time for her!
●Alison really loves coming back home and seeing you in the kitchen in the cute, blue apron she brought you when the two of you moved in. Seeing you hard at work in the kitchen makes her fall even harder for you.
●Alison works hard at work to keep getting promotions and climbing the corporate ladder so she can get a bigger paycheck.
●Without knowing at all, Alison keeps tabs on you while at work with the help of cameras. Always checking the app every two hours to see what you're up to. Always silently gushing about how cute you are while the other employees are weirded out, but she can't help herself! You just look so cute while sleeping on the couch.
●When Alison comes back after a long day at work, she quickly makes a beeline for you. Hugs you from back and runs her hands up and down your chest. She loves seeing your shy reaction at her touch.
"I've missed you so much. I thought I was going to die in the office. Did you miss me?" She whispers into your ear, and it causes you to lose focus from the food that you're cooking.
●She won't let you go until you tell her how much you missed her. She knows that you mean it because there is no way that you could lie to her because she always knows.
●Alison does nothing but spend her time with you. She needs to do everything with you. If you’re going to the store, she’ll tag along. If you’re going outside to tend to the garden, she’ll get her gloves ready and follow behind. It can be anything, and she’ll be right behind you. She does this to keep tabs on you. She can’t have you running off, now can she?
●Alison always makes you shower with her after a long day. Sometimes, it leads to more, but half of the time, it's just the two of you enjoying each other's presence.
●Alison's favorite part of the day is going to sleep and cuddling with you. Feeling your warm body pressed up against her almost makes her drool. You feel so soft!
●Alison always bothers you about expanding the family and having a baby! Oh, you're not ready to raise a little one? Don't worry, you'll change your mind soon enough. She'll make sure of it.
●Alison won't let you leave no matter what. You're stuck with her forever now! Isn't that what marriage is? Till death do you part, right? Well, Alison will find a way to have you even after you’re gone.
Whatever that might entail...
