How Matt Engarde was moving after Phoenix broke his psyche-locks

One of the survivors (who ends up being a lawyer turned rebel leader. was also married to the Queen) adopts the child because they can’t find his mom. He grows up with the son of the Queen who was exiled from the Royal family making them foster brothers.

Sometime when he’s 9 though it’s deemed too dangerous for this kid to stay so the foster father gives him up and sends him back to the states to live on his own in the LA foster system. (This was like a year before the queen (who is actually alive btw) reconnects with his foster father and they end up having another child).

Anyways while now living in LA he meets a best friend who come up with a shared catch phrase together and bond over having dead family members. He also finds out about a super cool lawyer with a perfect record and he ends up being his idol and a further inspiration for his career path (that is also related to your foster father (who you now resent because he never came back for him) as an inspiration)

This lawyer he idolizes also ended up adopting his half sister unrelated to the other family because his still alive mom who stopped looking for him (who is perceived to be dead now) (not actually) had another child with a different man. He doesn’t know she’s a part of your family and no one will tell them.

Sometime after his idols tragic disbarment though he end up getting an internship at a highly respected law office where his boss/mentor treats you alright. Sike his mentor is a murderer! And he finds this out in the trial where he defends his idol. He proceeds to get screwed over by his idol here too. So he’s now unemployed himself and no one will hire him because of that while his best friend has a pretty good internship at the in universe nasa equivalent. He will die sometime next year.

Despite all this though the most tragic part about his convoluted backstory isn’t any of this.
