All my boys are in big, cozy, cable knit sweater at one point or another of their careers as my muse. It’s part of the job description.

i free-handed the pastries. Gave him a little fruity tart as in my head he has a sweet tooth, and a croissant because, French.

The sweater was so fun to draw.

There’s no logic behind this except that i really want to cuddle humphrey.

(i realised too late for the first doodle that he can’t possibly hold a book by himself but whatever)

(maybe she’s a ghost as well, or maybe she’s a living that can also sense/touch them?)

(like i said there’s no logic or explanation behind this i just think humphrey would be such a chill guy to hang out with on a lazy Saturday afternoon)

(and probably a nice cuddle partner.)

Well I took a lot of creative liberties with this one. I used a screenshot of Larry in Horrible History which was a close up shot and not really that good quality (he was so beautiful though.) Anything from the chin down was improvised. Perhaps he should be wearing red to match his status, or maybe green is fine because Sophie also wears green and maybe that’s their house’s colour? I don’t know. I’m not a historian and I put him in green because I felt like it fit.

I had a lot of fun working on the details. The hair and the embroidery were so fun to do. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

At the laundromat with my headphone. No internet, only music, forcing myself to sit down and draw. He came out better than I expected.

That one tiny curl on his forehead was a paid actor. I hope I did it justice.

It’s as if the only time I get to draw is when im in the bus.

Yeah same pose I know. I sketches that other piece, didn’t like it, gave up, sketched this one out on a mini magnet canvas thing instead, left it for weeks to finish the other one. Now im back here again.

I need a new red.

Anyway, I don't think I have ever been normal about Humphrey. I love him. I love his sad eyes and crooked brows. Damn your eyes Mr Rickard and damn your cute little nose as well. What a man.

I may or may not make it too ominious with the sodalite in the background. Was gonna go for amethyst but for some reason I refilled it with Lapiz instead so it came out wonky. Well, I'm happy with it though.
