I think the Mangoball fic is one of the best comedy stories I've seen. Like I know it revolves around DNF, something I straight up do not ship, but nothing will ever beat how comedic the background characters are. The 2 main characters are the most basic characters possible while everyone else has something insane going on with them that intrigues you, but they are just brushed aside for the main characters petty drama

blah blah blah prime boys are awesome everyone gets it NO… i don’t think you do. because dream + tommy are two of the most dedicated content creators on the internet today and they are both completely incredible at what they do and i think the dsmp lore they’ve done together is the perfect example of that like ….. c!tommy and c!dream are undoubtedly the most captivating dynamic on the dream smp and you can tell how much effort the both of them have poured into their characters and fleshing out the relationship between the two of them – from DAY ONE of the disc wars it was clear that their conflict was going to impact the entire server and the way its been acted out over the past months (from the exile arc to the disc confrontation to the prison break) is crazyy Like these guys literally play minecraft for a living and yet the two of them created one of the most interesting storylines ever and it’s so fucking cool and a massive testament to their creativity! and they both deserve so so much credit like you can tell they really enjoy the roleplay and the big dramatic scenes and it just works SO well because tommy nails the character of c!tommy perfectly and is insanely talented at expressing emotion without it coming across as overexaggerated or cheesy and dream’s voice acting is fucking phenomenal.. he’s so good at inspiring terror like he makes a green mc skin look Menacing somehow. there’s a reason tommy pulled such insanely high viewer counts during the biggest conflicts and i think it’s bc of how many of us are deeply invested in the story dream and him created together. and seeing how much respect dream and tommy have for each other irl like the hours they’ve spent in call together talking about lore because they’re both so committed to doing their storylines justice is amazing i’m so proud of them. i fucking love prime boys
