intro: hey, i’m crys! i’m fourteen and i’ll be a freshman in high school this fall. i’m currently on summer vacation, but in the meantime i’ll be working on my french and algebra (potentially beginning greek? i’m not sure). 

i don’t think i ever learned proper studying habits/techniques, and i’m hoping this studyblr will help me accomplish that/get motivated! plus, last year was rough for me in some aspects and i hope smarter methods of studying will help ensure that this year won’t be a repeat of that.

 Where and how do you take your notes? Do you keep a notebook (or journal that is bounded similarly) for each subject? Do you type out your notes? Do you write out your notes digitally on a tablet (i.e. Apple pencil on iPad Pro)? 

I’ve went from spiral bound notebooks to regular college ruled paper or grid paper to take notes so that I could make additions to my notes. I’m really thinking about going digital but I’m not sure if I should. If I invest into an iPad Pro and Apple pencil, all my notes could be portable and stored digitally! This means I could access my notes from my computer, other devices like my phone, iPad Pro, and I could even print my notes out. It’s also a way for me to read my e-textbooks. But is this “expensive piece of paper” as some people call it, worth the price?

In conclusion, to anyone who is suffering through the AP exams:

ok guys, i am so incredibly in love with my desk space! i’ve been trying to make it as cozy as possible to try and trick myself into WANTING to do my homework (we’ll see how that goes). in the bottom right picture, i have a framed copy of my class schedule, some cute calendar printouts, my planner key (ie., purple = to do’s, grey = meetings/appointments), and lastly, a little font ref sheet written on an index card.
