Just felt the need to tap the sign lol. Whatever discourse is going on now—I don’t care enough to know whose side is what—I immediately block whichever account is interacting with the discourse, pretty indiscriminately.
Hopefully rehashing my common reasoning for blocks will save me some reach-around alternative account “why did you block me what did I do wrong” bogus that’s happened to me before as a result of blocking with no explanation. pretty annoying and not worth my time of day
“Quirky why did you block me” okay fine I’ll tell you. It’s most likely because you’re a minor posting smut and talking about it openly on your account. I don’t care if you write it KEEP IT TO YOURSELF posting that is NOT safe!!! Do you know how many kids do that in this fandom. I have 20 accounts blocked just for this. Every time a kid comes on to my posts to talk about suggestive things I have a whole debate with myself over blocking them because you shouldn’t be interacting with me like that. I don’t like posting suggestive things on main because of it.
Edit: if you meet that criteria and I haven’t blocked you, it’s probably because I haven’t noticed or I am under the assumption that you ARE an adult
if it’s not something along those lines then I just:
- disagree with your take on characters I like lmao
- don’t like seeing your posts in character tags I follow (people who main tag theories without hiding the big body of text under a cut, or live react to episodes, for example)
- don’t vibe with how you interact with other people (esp if you actively participate in anything other than healthy discourse. I’m talking harassing people and talking bad about people. Even if you think it’s warranted, it’s annoying to see and out of touch with what is actually important, lol. lmao. I’m here to see my blorbos and talk to fun people, I don’t care why you don’t like x y z. so into the block bin you go sorz)
