You exit too. It’s a bit loose on the top as you predicted, but only a bit. It’s not anything indecent. “Wow, you look great!”

You smile. “Hey, same to you. It’d only need a little bit of altering and it’d fit you perfectly.”

“Yeah. But don’t you think it makes my shoulders look a bit… I don’t know, just kind of there?” You adjust the top of your dress.

“What do you mean, like they aren’t adorned enough?” you say looking slightly confused.

"Maybe?" You frown. "It's like... without straps, it makes them look... I don't know, a bit small? It's hard to explain."

“Ooh, that’s pretty!” You grin, heading for the changing room.

You head too, getting dressed in the changing room. When you’re done you come out and check yourself out in the mirror. The dress makes you look taller and more statuesque than you usually do somehow.

"Hey, we don't get cute faces like you often," you giggle. "Mostly just old hags and little kids due for training. You're the weird one around my area!"

“Ooh, that’s pretty!” You grin, heading for the changing room.

You head too, getting dressed in the changing room. When you’re done you come out and check yourself out in the mirror. The dress makes you look taller and more statuesque than you usually do somehow.

“Not too much. I mean, we’re just trying things on, right?” You shrug. “Just probably won’t fill it out quite as well as the manufacturer intended.” You giggle.

"Ooh, that's pretty!" You grin, heading for the changing room.

You chuckle. “Well lets grab something and try it out then!”

You grinn, nodding, and look along the racks of dresses for something sparkly. You pass over several cocktail dresses before finally pulling out something slinky with a diagonal hem, nearly floor length. “What do you think of this?”

“Ooooh, I like.” you say. “Classy, but still kind of show-offy. I think you’d look great in it.”

"Thanks!" You hold it up to your body. "Might be a bit too big for me in certain places, though..."

“Sparkles?” you repeat. Your eyes light up as well.

You nod. “Yeah, a lot of these dresses have real crystal sewn into them. I mean it’s cheap as far as crystal goes but still. Lights up like fireworks in the right light.”

“I definitely wanna try something like that!” you reply, beaming.

You chuckle. “Well lets grab something and try it out then!”

You grinn, nodding, and look along the racks of dresses for something sparkly. You pass over several cocktail dresses before finally pulling out something slinky with a diagonal hem, nearly floor length. "What do you think of this?"

You rub your face like you’re trying to get the blush off. “If you say so, fairy godmother. What should I try on first?”

You grin and your eyes light up. “Something with sparkles.”

“Sparkles?” you repeat. Your eyes light up as well.

You’re still kind of giggling when you walk into the shop with the formal dresses. “Alright Cinderella, here we are.”

You grin and your eyes light up. “Something with sparkles.”

"Sparkles?" you repeat. Your eyes light up as well.

You giggle at yourself, face turning grey. “Sorry! It didn’t quite process when you first said it!”

You cough a few times and wipe the tear from your eye. “Don’t be embarrassed, that’s the hardest I’ve laughed in a while.”

“I’m glad I was able to make you laugh that much, then.” You smile earnestly.

You’re still kind of giggling when you walk into the shop with the formal dresses. “Alright Cinderella, here we are.”

You rub your face like you're trying to get the blush off. "If you say so, fairy godmother. What should I try on first?"

You follow her, glancing over. “Hey wait a second, Cinderella didn’t turn into a pumpkin…”

You trip up and nearly fall over laughing. “Wow, Ilse. Just wow.”

You giggle at yourself, face turning grey. “Sorry! It didn’t quite process when you first said it!”

You cough a few times and wipe the tear from your eye. “Don’t be embarrassed, that’s the hardest I’ve laughed in a while.”

"I'm glad I was able to make you laugh that much, then." You smile earnestly.

You follow her, glancing over. “Hey wait a second, Cinderella didn’t turn into a pumpkin…”

You trip up and nearly fall over laughing. “Wow, Ilse. Just wow.”

You giggle at yourself, face turning grey. "Sorry! It didn't quite process when you first said it!"

“Alright!” You grin and change back into your usual clothes. “Unless you wanted to shop around some more?”

You shake your head. “And even if I did, I can come here pretty much any day I want. And you turn into a pumpkin at midnight.”

“Right, right.” You go back into the changing rooms and get back into your normal clothes.

You follow her, glancing over. "Hey wait a second, Cinderella didn't turn into a pumpkin..."

“Yeah, I was thinking something a little more modern, something glamorous…” You smile. “Like, floor-length gown sort of thing.”

“Ah, so we’re skipping right ahead to the prom dresses then?” you nod. “Alright, let’s head.”

“Alright!” You grin and change back into your usual clothes. “Unless you wanted to shop around some more?”

You shake your head. “And even if I did, I can come here pretty much any day I want. And you turn into a pumpkin at midnight.”
