David Hockney’s ‘Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)’ fetched $90M in a record-setting auction at Christie’s Post-War and Contemporary Art Evening Sale in New York City. It’s now the most expensive work by a living artist sold at auction.

🏛️ This week will be dedicated to the @chateaufontainebleau. We are going to explore some of the most iconic rooms of this wonderful palace known as the “house of the centuries”. The palace was a royal residence from François I to Napoléon III, so from the 16th to the 19th century. Each king or emperor applied their trademark to the palace by extending it. Nowadays Fontainebleau is a fascinating stacking of different times and styles. 👑
