¿Qué se guisa, Mona Lisa?

Chocolatexture por el estudio japonés NENDO, consta de 9 diseños geométricos diferentes, creados para el  Maison & Object 2015. Según Nendo, sus distintas texturas provocan distintos sabores. Cada uno tiene asignado una expresión japonesa, que sirve para describir la textura.

Chocolatexture by Japanese design office NENDO has created 9 different types of chocolate, each on were inspired by an onomatopoeic word from the Japanese language that describes texture: “toge toge” (sharp pointy tips), “sube sube” (smooth edges and corners) and “zara zara” (granular, like a file) etc.

Gracias a un proyecto de Kickstarter fue posible realizar esta maravilla escultura. 3D-REX, creado por NAMISU, un estudio de cuatro diseñadores de producto de Madrid y Edinburgo formado por: Adrien Cols, Octavio Asensio, Coco Lombarte  y José Cifuentes.

Su carrera comenzó en los años 60, su intención era viajar a los Estados Unidos para convertirse en músico de jazz, pero tras tomar una imagen del secretario de Asuntos Exteriores británico dormido en el aeropuerto de Londres, un periódico compró dicha imagen y su carrera dio un giro de 180 grados. Ha fotografiado a infinidad de actores,actrices, modelos, músicos... siendo pionero en retratar a grupos de música.

En el proyecto CamGirls, la artista multimedia con sede en Londres VANESSA OMOREGIE, reemplaza a las Venus de obras clásicas por chicas que se toman fotos (generalmente desnudas) con su webcam. Su objetivo: “cuestionar estándares de belleza, ideas sobre la censura y la representación artística.
