Well it'd probably the fact that we made up an entire system of powers exclusive to Anthropomorphic Pokémon, or Pokémorphs or Anthromon, that we never are able to bring up because it's something that is hard to really show and bring up as a fan concept because it varies on everyone's interpertation of main series pokémon lore yet it's vital as that's Aliciah's main villain gimmick that she possess all the abilities.

They are the Type Abilities,

and some range from something simple like:

Water Types being able to waterbend (Can't turn the water to ice tho)

Rock types can earth bend

Fire types can firebend to Something a bit more complex like:

Grass types being able to communicate with each other through vegetation

Bug Types being able to fit through any crack (yes, even the gigantamax forms)

Normal Types can speak and understand any and all languages

not gonna drop all of them as it's a long list for every type and every type has 3 Type Abilities but i will link a google doc with all of them!

The Sword System

After a lot of bitching from my headmates, finally decided to draw all of us, for our (body's) birthday, which was yesterday About a year ago, discovered that we were plural, and so far, we have about 17 people in our system. Some of us view ourselves in the headspace as some of the characters you've seen posted on here before (like the Pikachu, the Giratina and others) and some visualize themselves as something else. Like a Zoh Shia. So i guess formal introductions are in order,  We are the Sword System,  The names of everyone are under them, and as for what this means for those of us who visualize ourselves as the oc, well, nothing. Because that's the oc, and unless you are talking about the headmate directly, nothing would come of it.  i even added the approximations of the emojis we use to indicate which headmate is talking.

Tiamet Aeon, The Gilded Pharoah

Lore: A former human, she was killed and reborn as a cofagrigus. She has no recollection of who she was. All she remembers is that she despises humans for being the ones who killed her. For a year she stayed inside Relic castle getting any humans that just so happened to pass by trapped but then one faithful day where a  large shard the size of a boulder black as space itself with stars floating within landed in front of her. The moment she touched it, it gave her powers beyond her imagination. She turned from a regular cofagrigus into this giant dragon-like figure, with the ability to mold life out of her wings and traverse space itself as if it were water. She soon realized she could also turn others into her own personal servants, warp reality and grow larger the more gold and valuables she hoards.Slowly but surely she starts to see herself as a god in her own right. One day, a Hydreigon walks into her chambers, a room as large as Nimbasa City filled with gold. The Hydreigon invites her to join a team. At first she was hesitant, however with the promise of more servants and areas to gain gold from, she agreed.  She was given the position of Admin of Team Victory, more officially known as the Denali Unity, Unova’s Division of the Apex Alliance.

The Unovan Villains are being made and their themeing is based off Superhero media! I was mostly inspired by how DC and Marvel has the God in their premier superhero teams, and decided why not make a cofagrigus! She took way longer than usual but im happy with the results, plus perfect time for Kaijune! :D There’s 6 more villains to draw but this doesn’t mean ive forgotten about the good guys, ill be drawing the Sinnoh protagonists soon as well! Not sure if i should include their powersets with these posts as it is a lot so lemme know if you’d like to see what superpowers these guys got!

Basically Herba Mystica until after the events of the Indigo Disk was only found and able to grow in Paldea in certain specific enviroments (usually caves or dark humid areas), plus where it is found is mostly in tera raid dens (which are recent) or where the Titans live. So why the villains from the other regions wouldn't know about it is probably that. Some villains also might not use it because of their own egos (but some do end up using it but thats a problem for later)

There is one villain who gotten more than Kylie did and its where Kylie got her hands on Herba mystica to then grow her own supply. She stole it from the Open Sky Titan, Beafito Estrataleza, a bombirdier who basically hoards the entire supply in the south west of paldea.

There is one event that happens that also prevents them from getting herba mystica and going on a rampage but thats spoilers

So the TLDR is that the in universe reason for why the Apex Alliance doesnt get their hands on Herba Mystica is because

1) its too rare during the events of the story they would be in to be known

2) The titans of Paldea horde it for themselves

Kleavor's one of my personal favorite bug types right after Leavanny and Scolipede (Gen 5 has really good bug types) i actuallyed used on during my first legends Arceus playthroughts! She was an alpha Female one because i kept on only getting alpha female pokémon

Hmm... interesting question... Not sure for some, I do know that's Iron has no favorites or else can't say much for each pokemon oc because that's a weird question to ask them. But for stuff like Bowsie, Beatly and those others Im sure Bowsie would like something like Koraidon since it's huge imposing and draconic Beatly would probably like something like Klefki since it'd be a way easier way to keep her keys And 1000% Petunia likes Budew, cause it's just a lil guy And Actually, Our favorite pokémon is Sobble/Inteleon, because look at it

Gen 6!  We dont like Kalos, originally as a meme cause it’s France, but then we played Y and possibly was the least invested we were playing a pokémon game ever. There’s very few cool things about it. Legends Z-A on the other hand is probably one of the best pokémon games we’ve played So because we disliked Kalos we changed a few things up to its base story featuring Iron and put Zygarde in the spotlight. Alongside needing to fight Xerneas and Yvetal as they try to conquer the region. On the right arts you can see just parts of ZA that we liked! As the title implies the arts theme is defending the world from evil (which includes Urbain’s cooking)  But you also may notice a couple of new characters in the art and those are to be revealed later at a later time :3

Teach Pokemon to understand, The power thats inside

Hoo boy this one was definitely the one with the most characters so far, for the Sinnoh Region! There’s so much that happens in the Sinnoh region, both in the past and the present and despite Sinnoh being our least favorite region ever period, we love hisui! We loved the story of PLA a lot so we wanted to reference the scene where Volo summons giratina to kick your ass by also drawing Shiera and her husband, Morthiem!  We also have the first appearance of the beast that is Mega Lola, which probably will get a full art dedicated to her sometime in the future. You also may have noticed beyond Iron in the top left picture, there’s 2 characters in the bottom left picture who are standing in front of the group of pokémon. Well the human man is Iron’s Ancestor, Valkner and the character to his right, that’s a ditto. And that ditto is Iron Sword.  Iron in the top left picture is 12 years old and in the bottom left picture is 17 years old :3

I will travel across the land, Searching far and wide

Today is Hoenn! What a region, there’s a lot of water in this one but it’s still probably in our top 5 pokémon regions (you can tell since we really went all in for this art lol) Iron’s team in Hoenn is different than most as they are primarily a group of contest pokémon because after the events of Unova a year prior (Iron is 11 in this art), Iron needed to do something else than the gym challenge (even though that kid has a hyper fixation with pokémon battles so he’ll do the Hoennian Gym Challenge alongside the contests). Janet the Flygon is a bit of a sassy tech wiz and is major player in Smart Contests. Wendell the Tropius is a ace sky racer and even starred in a season of a hoenn Tokusatsu as one of the 5 main characters. Due to that disposition, he is the one that aces the Cool Contests. Samantha the Aggron is a massive brickwall of a woman who can tough out any and all hits that you can throw at her, so she self assigned herself to be the Tough Contest Champ. Jenna the Blaziken was the only one of the group who worked in a field adjacent to contests, modeling! So her being the leader in Beauty Contests was natural.  Despite him being a sharpedo, Sharko likes to wear more bright colors and bows, and his personality is one of a calm, soft, timid person, so he was ofc natural to be in the cute contests (where he probably has to also get over his fear of big crowds) As you can see, each one of Iron’s pokémon specializes in a specific contest, apart for one. Bella Mankarech, the gardevoir. She doesn’t do contests out of self doubts and general, antagonism from Samantha. However, she does have a giant hammer and can tinker!

To catch them is my real test, To train them is my cause

Johto Time!  If I’m being completely honest, the last time we played a game with Johto in it was when we played Crystal. But again, not a region we like that much since it’s also pretty boring and bland all things considered… however for Iron’s journey that’s a bit different :3 Iron face the Johto division of the Apex alliance in Johto as Team Rocket was defeated years prior to him leaving his home in Unova including but not limited to a Massive shadow lugia (whoses apart of the Apex Alliance’s Sinnoh division) but luckily he is joined by Serena (his rival and best friend) and his team comprised of (from left to right) Furea, Bara, Rin, Kessha, Azur and Kokuyo, a group of college students (looking for extra credit/padding out the resumé by adding league winners to it) to defeat them and not let the region fall into an all out war :D and ofc at the bottom is Serena’s Weavile, Kiara being her usual sassy self Iron’s age in this art is 12 years old.

I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was

Throughout the entirety of Feburary, we’ll be releasing arts as a celebration of Pokémon’s 30th anniversary but also as a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of us writing this lore, the characters, and everything that we basically put our heart and soul into for the past couple of years.  And to start us off is the Kanto region! We wanted to basically make a cheeky reference to the games and the anime in this piece since well we like the main theme song of the 1st season the most (i mean it is the most iconic).  Kanto’s a start but definitely not our favorite region. It was originally the first region where the big antagonistic force, The Apex Alliance, wouldve made their grand debut with a massive show of force before that was changed to be Hoenn. But they still in kanto and subsequent regions up until paldea! There’s not much to talk about for Kanto as a region however, haha… It’s iconic… but also very boring and basic But you may be wondering, whose that kid? Well that kid is named Iron Sword and he is the trainer of most of our pokémon ocs (He’s 12 in Kanto, because yeah this story spans over 10 years of iron’s life), and will be the main focus of all the arts as well the story we’ve been making is about his journey across the pokémon world :D And before some people get the wrong idea, Nothing will be done to Iron. This is a SFW project that we’ve been working on for the past 10 years.
