The youngest of the Empress’s children, Debbie or Deborah, is a medium. She can see ghosts without the use of magic. She has a few that see she’s more frequently, one being the witch from the first draining spell scene in Belos’s memories. I don’t know the witches name, so for now she’s referred to as “Spirit”
Little Debbie has her hat, she found it while exploring out of the castle with her brother. Wherever the hat goes, Spirit goes too. Unfortunately, all of Phillip’s children are little shits so Debbie refuses to burn the hat and let the ghost rest. Not in a cute little kid “you’re my ghost friend and I’d miss you” way, but a “I found your hat so you’re mine until I’m bored of you.” Kind of way.
