I usually try not to bash Marlene. Yes, I make fun of the lies she tells about the show, all the plot holes, etc. but I never wanted to be too rough and too personal.

But this, Ladies and Gentlemen is I. Marlene King in 2014 talking about crazy fan theories, basically saying that she STOLE the idea of A being Spencer’s Twin from a FAN THEORY. 

Mona never called the cops.

Mona never stopped playing.

Mona has new dolls.

Over the past two years, many of you have asked if I would ever write a followup to my original Lucas theory, Uber A: What’s in a Name?

Well my friends, the wait is over.

The end is near.

The darkness is upon us.

The Season 7B premiere will take place “moments” after the 7A finale.

“We will find out who Charlotte’s father is, and we will find out how Spencer came to be,” King confirms. She says this particularly storyline originated from Sara Shepard’s books in which Spencer is adopted.

“There will be “more than one wedding” coming up.

“Paige is not gone for good,” King confirms, “although I did love her riding away on the bicycle. … Having that triangle play out felt very appropriate for us.”

“When Wren returns in Season 7B, his first scene will be with Ezra, per Julian Morris’ request. (He and Ian Harding are best friends in real life.) Wren will also be in “more than one episode.”

Alison’s pregnancy will affect all of the Liars, “especially Emily.” As for the nature of the pregnancy, King reminds us that “nothing is average on PLL. Everything is spectacular.” (Editor’s note: I’m not ready to give up on my theory that Emily’s eggs are involved.)

Don’t bank on seeing Melissa in Season 7B. “We’re still hoping to get her into the finale,” King says, though she admits Torrey DeVitto’s schedule with Chicago Med may be too difficult to get around.

Jenna is “anonymously working for A.D.,” meaning that even she doesn’t know his/her true identity. “A few other people on our show are as well,” King adds.

4x14 of Pretty Little Liars, “Who’s In The Box?,” contains a very sketchy conversation between Ezra and Mona that has always nagged at me.

Mona: I’m a little envious of the other girls. The support they get, how they depend on you…makes me think how much better I would be doing if I had found the right mentor. All the folly, grudges and false imprisonment, people thinking I’m one thing when I know I’m someone else. But you know about that sort of thing.

Ezra: What makes you say that?

Mona: It’s just a feeling. Maybe it’s the books you have us read. All the masks and secret identities. That reading list is very revealing if you know what to look for. 

Ezra: And what are you looking for, Mona?

Mona: You’re in that school everyday, you’ve seen what happened to me.

Ezra: And I know some of the things you made happen to others. 

Mona: He who is without sin, Mr. Fitz.

Ezra: Let me tell you what I have learned about Rosewood High. It’s that fear is the number one motivator. I wish it was the love of knowledge, but it’s not. It’s fear. Fear of failure, fear of being discovered, fear of liking the wrong person. You figured that out, and somewhere along the way you dumped all that fear. And that’s what make’s you special.

Mona: Special? Moi?

Ezra: But it also makes you vulnerable. See, fear can be a very good thing, Mona. It can keep you from underestimating people. It can keep you from making mistakes about how far you can push someone before they push back.

Okay so there is obviously a hidden conversation going on between them!

The first thing that is brow-raising is when Mona says “…makes me think how much better I would be doing if I had found the right mentor.” I wonder if this is a hint that Mona knows that CeCe has taken over the game FOR UBER A-EZRA!!!! 

Then Mona goes on to say “…people thinking I’m one thing when I know I’m someone else. But you know about that sort of thing.” Mona is hinting that Ezra isn’t who he says he is. This is a huge clue to me that he is Charles, and Uber A. Mona mentions that there are masks and secret identities in the books he teaches in class. UM HELLO, A is always wearing masks. Charles is Ezra’s secret identity. He says that she has done some horrible things to people, and Mona’s response is, “He who is without sin, Mr. Fitz.”

This is actually a very famous quote derived from the Bible.

“…Then they reminded Jesus that adultery was punishable by stoning under Mosaic law and challenged him to judge the woman so that they might then accuse him of disobeying the law. Jesus thought for a moment and then replied, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.”

So what are Ezra’s sins?!?! The most intriguing thing that Ezra says is,“ Fear of failure, fear of being discovered, fear of liking the wrong person.” Ezra seems to be talking about himself. He obviously is up to something because he is scared of failing. Is he scared of people discovering his true identity as CHARLES and/or A?? He definitely has a track record of liking the wrong person, specifically underage girls- Ali & Mona. 

This is my current theory: Maybe Ezra was never actually interested in Ali in a sexual way. (I know they kissed- but he was just going along with it). I think he purposefully met with Ali that day because he learned his true identity, that he was CHARLES, (I still don’t know if Charles is a Drake or a DiLaurentis) and wanted to meet his sister/first cousin. He wanted to write a book about his secret family. He pretended to flirt with Alison in order to get to know her better. He decided to teach at Rosewood High to be close to the DiLaurentis’ family. The night Ali disappeared, Ezra pretended that he just learned her real age, and broke it off with her. Now he can be in her life, but not in a romantic way. 

The night Alison disappeared Ezra lost the only family he ever had. He vowed to find out what happened to her. He has studied Ali at length, and knows all about her friends. He sees Aria at the Hollis Bar and Grill, and immediately starts hitting on her. He knew she was only 16, and that he would be teaching at her school. He didn’t care about the age difference, he would do anything to get into Ali’s inner circle of friends. That’s why the first time he meets Aria, he asks if he can read her writing.

Mona is A for the first few seasons.

Ezra sends his (sister/cousin) CeCe Drake into Rosewood to dig up dirt on the girls and look at everything from a different angle. We know Ezra was paying her for information. When Mona gets caught and is put in Radley, CeCe takes over the game with Ezra in charge.

These 10 first episodes of the season remind me very much to how season 1 because of lots of reasons, I’m going to start:

OLD CHARACTERS 

Lots of old characters from season 1 or other past seasons have come back to the show, Jenna, Noel, Jason, Paige, Sydney (lol) and we know that Wren is coming back too (I’m very exited about it). And some of the new characters that were came in the last season are gone: Jordan, Liam, Shower Harvey, Rollins, Yvonne (I’m sure she’s dead, maybe Toby isn’t but Yvonne is)  

REMAKE OF SCENES/STORYLINES 

1. The necklaces Spencer gave to the girls (7x08) remind me of the bracelets Alison made to them (1x02)

-The first time we see The Kahn’s Cabin was in the 1x03 and we have been able to see it again some other times during the show. Then in season 7 we see it in episode where Spencer and Emily find the pen drive.

-Probably the most obvious parallel of the season was when someone (probably Noel) wrote in the liars car “I see you” like he did to Ezra’s car in episode 10 from season 1 when he found Aria with Ezra.

And then Noel in 7x10 said to Emily and Hanna “You know too much” just like the message text in the 1x10 when Hanna saw Noel at Camp Mona and though he was A.

-The Haleb sex scene in the 7x10 is OBVIOUSLY a parallel from their first time in 1x19.

-Also I have to say that Spoby’s first and last kiss look very alike, and in the 7x10 there’s a board of scrabble in Toby’s car.

And we’ve seen lots of references to the french leanguage, in the 1x16 when Spencer teaches french to Toby, also in 6x20 there is mention to the lenguage, so in the 7x01 because of Mary’s books and finally in the 7x10 Spencer gives Toby a french book.

-In this first half of season 7 we found out that during the 5 years jump Aria had a thing with Jason for a time and well, during season 2 (not season 1 but it happened in the same year and those two seasons were the start of A) they also had a thing.

-Going back to season 6b, do you remember Charlotte’s death right? It was very compared to the scene in 1x22 when Ian tries to kill Spencer in the church. But in season 7 (7x01) there is also a parallel to that scene, when the liars find “dead” Hanna, actually a mask, hanging in the church.

-Pll started with the disappearance of Alison and finding out that she was “dead”, I don’t want Alison to suffer more but I think it will be such a shock if she dies at the end of the season and the liars going to her funeral like they did in the pilot.

-AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. If we are going back to the origins, does this mean that so is A? And guess who was the Original A: MONA.           I’m always rooting for Wren to be A and I hope so but I think that Mona being A makes sense, she started the game and she wants to end it.
