The Observable Universe : How far can you see? Everything you can see, and everything you could possibly see, right now, assuming your eyes could detect all types of radiations around you – is the observable universe. In visible light, the farthest we can see comes from the cosmic microwave background, a time 13.8 billion years ago when the universe was opaque like thick fog. Some neutrinos and gravitational waves that surround us come from even farther out, but humanity does not yet have the technology to detect them. The featured image illustrates the observable universe on an increasingly compact scale, with the Earth and Sun at the center surrounded by our Solar System, nearby stars, nearby galaxies, distant galaxies, filaments of early matter, and the cosmic microwave background. Cosmologists typically assume that our observable universe is just the nearby part of a greater entity known as “the universe” where the same physics applies. However, there are several lines of popular but speculative reasoning that assert that even our universe is part of a greater multiverse where either different physical constants occur, different physical laws apply, higher dimensions operate, or slightly different-by-chance versions of our standard universe exist. via NASA

This is what it would look like if a giant mirror orbited Earth at the distance of the ISS. Credit to vsauce.
Bitch. WHAT!
Well lets do it
That’s pretty neat
On this day: Bret Hart’s final match in the WWF before leaving for WCW is made infamous when Earl Hebner – by order of Vince McMahon – rings the bell as soon as Shawn Michaels applies the Sharpshooter to Hart, handing Michaels the WWF Championship in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. (11/9/97)
Here’s the thing (one of the things) about Sami Zayn: not many wrestlers can make you feel so viscerally that he’s *struggling,* frantic and almost panicked, against a more powerful opponent. He can convince you that he’s completely out of any ideas or strategy beyond “keep clawing because you refuse to quit,” and he can even convince you that somehow, SOMEHOW, that might be enough to win. When I re-watch his matches, I’m always filled with admiration of how convincing his desperation is.
(In the moment, though, all I ever feel is a simple mix of worry and utter faith in his ability to prevail).

Roman Reigns gifts his boots [October 22nd, 2018]
Okay so granted, the story took place some time ago, but it was only posted yesterday. Professional wrestler Connor Braxton, who was trained at Marek Brave and Seth Rollins’ school, posted this story about how Roman Reigns helped him in a time of need:
A little known fact… after I finished training at The Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, I was without a pair of wrestling boots to use. With my first match a few days away, and zero dollars to my name, I was frantically looking around for a pair of boots.
I exhausted all my contacts in search of finding a pair, and asked Seth [Rollins] if he knew anyone looking to sell some. He told me Roman Reigns had a pair that he would be willing to sell me. I was ecstatic, but also very poor…
I asked how much he was looking to get for the pair, and he said he would ask Roman and see. Almost immediately, he responded and said, “Roman asked if you were a good brother, and said you can just have them. He said just make sure you pass on the favor to someone else for the good of the wrestling business.”
Roman, you have no idea who I am. You went out of your way to help an aspiring professional wrestler have a chance. You are the goodest of brothers. The wrestling business is a much better place because of you. Thank you.
