Quick & Cost Effective Ways to Appreciate Your Employees
The most common reason an employee leaves their job is because they don’t feel appreciated. By simply recognizing an employee’s performance, their engagement can increase by almost 60%.
In the United States, 65% of workers reported they did not receive any recognition for their efforts.
Below are six cost effective ways you can recognize your employees today:
1. Host a catered lunch or pizza party in your office. Food can be supplied by your cafeteria or a local restaurant/ chain like Panera.
2. Hand out movie tickets to your employees. When buying movie tickets in bulk, you can often get a discounted price.
3. Provide employees with an additional personal day.
4. Personally thank your employees for their hard work and dedication either verbally or through a thank you note.
5. Hand out scratch off lottery tickets. For a few dollars, you’ll give your employee the chance to win much more!
6. Give employees a gift, like a mug or hat, with your organization’s logo on it.
What are you doing to recognize your employees?
Quality First Solutions can help direct your hospital towards savings. Happy Dr. Seuss Day!
