He first realizes this when he’s out, getting up to his normal stupidity at Grillby’s on a night you had to work, and it just…wasn’t as fun without you giggling and leaning on his shoulder.

His clinginess doesn’t come off as possessive or controlling, more that he just would rather be around you than not. Going to the grocery store? He’ll tag along. Going on a walk? He needed to stretch his legs anyway. Going clubbing? Not his scene, but hey, he’s always up to try something new (lying).

Of course, if you need space, he’ll gladly give it to you, but say the word and he’s right back by your side with an arm thrown over your shoulder or his head in your lap while you watch TV.

him being so nonchalant to our antics is actually his way of showing affection because hey, who else can climb all over him without bones flinging their way? its giving cat who tolerates their affectionate owner while everyone else is getting scratched

on a similar note, red would also be in the same habit of spoiling us. you cant convince me he wont be totally smitten by his darling. hes so weak omg, i need to see that boy enamoured the first time he makes us laugh

tbh i think i can list down all the things my not-so-friendly to others kitty cat but who is also incredibly clingy to me does and we will find no distinction between both of them like let me just change the pronouns ok

-will walk away if someone goes near and will literally bodily recoil or attack if someone tries to touch him. ur an exception tho, u can bury ur face into him while babbling nonsense how cute he is and he'll just :| but u could also feel him purring beneath you

-if he's in a mood for no touchy and WILL hiss at you if u do, u should still stay in the same room. like 2 meters away. no, no, not that far away---dont u dare fucking leave him in this room alone he will FIGHT this door dont dare him

-when he finally craves attention, he'll just walk to ur side staring at u. if u ignore him he'll either swipe at the thing distracting u away from him OR he'll bite you

-WILL lay on top of u no matter how heavy he is when ur sleeping like girl i cant BREATHE and will grumble if u try to shove him off but fine he'll settle by sleeping very closely to your face. will also nudge at your hand if youre not holding him and will bite u again if u dont do it.

-wakes u up at 5am by biting u so u can get food ready for the both of u. "bb its literally 5 am it is not time for breakfast yet" *cue the deadass stare of girl idgaf ur already awake cmon lets go eat im starving get up or ill eat YOU instead* "ok calm down geez"

-just likes to bite you for fun atp honestly and would pretend he didnt do shit when the evidence is very clear on ur skin
