As an aroace person you rarely see anyone aroace let alone someone who is only aromantic! So much so that they just get lumped together most of the time.

But the point is that I grew up being told that romance is just something that everyone does, It wasn't a if you get it was a when you get a partner. And I totally would have just gone along with it if I didn't find out about aromantic and asexual as something that exists on my own.

Its shoved down your thought constantly and I think alot of people can see that.

But to see bad as a character being happy, having such meaningful relationships which dont fall into simple categories. Who very often does things considered romantic, just be platonic is so incredible.

I think he is the perfect example of representation, and i saw that whole heartedly. He is a very compelling character with his own flaws and positives his storyline is amazingly put together and well thought out but hes also aromantic!!! And it's not just a label, no hes never even said that he is. It's just a part of his character and Its showcased in how he acts!

( it's so me before I knew what aroace was. I didn't have the words but I knew how I felt and I felt utterly disgusted by the idea of dating. XD)

He hates romance and thinks weddings are disgusting, but he also flirts with his friends constantly. He needs 24 hour constant attention, and he skips every song that has to do with romance. He cant tell what someone means by more than friends, and his life revolves around other people, but non of it is romantic!!
