name: baelon targaryen, choosen by maekar wishing that he would grow up to be as strong and brave as the spring prince & sort of in honour of baelor, despite not being the very same name ( in a way like i see rhae being an homage to rhaegel ).
general appearance: he favours his dayne blood more —with dark wavy hair just a shade lighter than dyanna's, finer and more delicate features than his father's. as a young man he stands at around 5'9'', on the leaner side. only the eyes are unmistakably maekar's, in colour only, the same lilac shade.
personality: like the majority of his siblings, he is not the kind of child who stays still — from his very insecure wobbly steps to running behind aegon and rhae, shouting their names, he never stood still in the same place for more than one minute. took after his namesake perhaps too much and the only blessing is that there are no dragons to hit as a way of bonding. always restless, always watching his older siblings and attempting to copy them and show from an early age, albeit it remained the core of his personality, that he's as capable as any of them, which turned him into a stubborn and competitive young man.
special talents: has no interest for anything academic and finds his lessons boring and useless ( in a i'll never be king, daeron will inherit summerhall, why should i care way ) but is a natural at anything manual. of course he likes swordplay and tried, much to his parents's horror, to swing his father's mace at aegon once as a child — but he's also very good at whittling loves to gift little figures, dragons usually, to everyone he loves.
who they like better: he loves them both but if he had to pick — dyanna. some of his earliest memories are of her singing him lullabies, moments he recalls every time he's away from home or from his family.
who they take after more: both, i think he's a good mix of their more stubborn sides.
personal head canon: he was born three years after rhae and was a surprise pregnancy and a difficult one at that; the maester who delivered him called him a "sickly boy" and doubted he would survive. but baelon proved him wrong and maekar sent the maester away. the best day of baelon's life was when uncle dorian gave him dawn to wield in training once.
