The Galarian Birds ARE regional forms to the Kanto Birds

These birds being an entirely different species that coincidentally look like the Kanto birds is a misconception in the fandom 100%. If Gamefreak REALLY wanted that to be the lore, why did they make regional forms instead of brand new very similar looking birds called Psycuno, Badtres, Punchdos? What stopped them from doing the same thing they did with Raging Bolt and Raikou?

If they were just convergent, and not divergent species, it feels weird that they did this only for the Kanto birds but not even much later had Wiglett and Diglett as two separate beings. End of the day, in data, in lore, and in the dex itself, the Galarian Birds are just forms to the Kanto Birds. (it would be aggravating if the humans in that world found out that they're just coincidentally look-alikes and still kept them listed as forms)

[AU OC] Gine's Training Day - Princess Tapolae

Pronounced "Ta-pol-lay" I made her back in 2021 to be the main antagonist for my ZGine AU comic "Gine's Training Day" and the one Gine fights but I wasn't fully confident on her design at the time. I feel a lot better about it now. ^ New (top) v Old (bottom)

She's from a planet called "Tapol". It's a water-based planet with rich resources and moving islands on giant turtle backs. There's a lot of aquatic-themed life and citizens known as "Tapolians" who are a mix of turtle and frog-like demons. Tapolae serves as the current ruler.

She's very 80's anime tsundere mean girl brat type. She's obsessed with staying pretty/beautiful in her base form. Her Demon form acts more nonchalant. Very witty, playful but murderous. She's calculated but has a short-temper when she can't get her way.

Her motives are grey. She studies biology/anatomy in attempts to rebuild her father's malformed bones/body all the while selling the corpses of dead Tapolians to black market vendors + infrastructure materials to the Frieza Force to keep from them from blowing up her planet.

(Materials found in and or used to build the space pods, medical supplies, healing chamber water properties)

The materials started showing up in short-supply so ZBardock's gang are dispatched to go and destroy the planet. Tapolae forsees a premeditated assassination attempt so she preps the planet in anticipation of if Frieza's soldiers or Saiyans show up.

Around this time, Gine was tagging along with Bardock's squad in attempts to prove herself worthy of being with them. (I was going for an AU where she actually fights) They only had the order to destroy Planet Tapol and none of the main details.

When they get there, they noticed they can't transform into Great Apes or generate artificial moons. Planet Tapol's atmosphere was altered to disrupt ki or energy-based elements as well as increased the weight of gravity for non-Tapolians.
