im sorry but i beg to differ. a really major part of transrace folks treat their transrace ID as an exotic thing. this is especially common with americans which is why i often say that these kinds of transrace people are the same as americans that claim to be any % of a different race/ethnicity. like "i'm 1% african!" shit.

it's about wanting to be anything else other than "boring american" which in turn leads to fetishizing the race/ethnicity and turning it into an exotic and very dehumanising thing to those who are actually born into/connected with that identity.

this is especially rampant with transrussians, because vast majority of transrussian tips and profile themes are either insanely racist/xenophobic or stereotypical. because they're often written by americans or even western europeans whose view of russians is full of western cold war ass propaganda. and dont even get me started on godawful google translated russian. frankly this goes for any enemy of the West, not just russians, it's just transrussian is super hip right now

and that's not even counting transblack individuals using the transblack identity solely to say the n word. that's a whole massive issue on its own.

i really think the sentiment of "you don't need to transition into your race/ethnicity, you ARE that race/ethnicity" is inherently insanely racist and disrespectful too. it's a free pass people give themselves to be racist, treat their ID as a quirky exotic thing, and not learn anything about their ID, the culture and history.

i think transrace community has a giant racism problem and i'm tired of sweeping that under the rug. it will never get better if we just pretend like everything is okay

like it or not, some screenreaders are heavily affected by unicode characters, specialize fonts, and tumblr's customizable text. some screenreaders are not affected by it. some screenreaders are high quality and can process/skip over unicode characters and read cuatomized text and fonts just fine. some screenreaders only have issues with certain fonts specifically. some screenreaders are only affected by unicode characters. some are only affected by certain unicode characters.

the point is, not all screenreaders have the same capabilities. some people are limited by older devices or even budget (for the screenreaders that are paywalled or paywall a version that functions properly), and therefore will use whatever screenreader is easiest for them to use. sometimes these screenreaders are quite sensitive and WILL break when it detects a unicode character, a font and/or customized text. even if it's just tumblr's maekdown text.

for example, i am using an old phone at the moment while my current one gets repaired. downloadable screenreaders that are "available" to me on this phone are either sketchy, don't function very well, or are entirely incompatible with my device. to make things easier for myself, i'm just using my phone'a built in screenreader, which is google talkback. HOWEVER, because it is an old phone, it uses an outdated version of google talkback that IS very much impacted by even tumblr's markdown text when customized. it will stop working entirely and won't start reading on tumblr again until i close and reopen the app.

even on my current phone, voice assistant atill has issues like this. few and far between, sure, but not nonexistant.

so, no, not all screenreaders are the same and not all of them can read your fancily formatted text. i think telling ANY disabled person that they're lying about how their own accessibility aids work and claiming they're lying about limitations they have or issues they encounter with that aid will always be ableist.

well, MBTI uses FUNCTIONS. 16p is a Big Five test in disguise as a MBTI test. MBTI is a cognitive perception system, not a personality system.

every MBTI type uses four main functions in a specific order and with a specific logic:

this looks like nonsense, but these letters actually mean something. overall functions break into four tendencies, and each tendency splits into two - introverted/extroverted. this does NOT have anything to do with social introversion/extroversion and means solely cognitive introversion/extroversion. the tendencies are Sensing, iNtuition, Thinking and Feeling. for example, my type is INTJ, meaning my dominant function is introverted iNtuition (Ni) while my auxilary function is Extroverted Thinking (Te).

is there a test? NO. all tests for any typology fucking SUCK. MBTI ones especially suck because a Ni-Te brain logic can sound a bit like Ti when put to words, so it could count you towards the wrong function. it also trusts you to be self-aware enough, which may lead to mistypes.

the closest decent test is sakinorva and it gives me INTJ at least, but i would only use it as a starting point, then look into types and functions at your own pace.
