His absolute favorite way to show affection in public without being lovey-dovey is having his arm around your shoulder. All. The. Time.

You could just be minding your own business and suddenly feel someone slinging their arm around your shoulder and you’ll immediately know it’s Reno. You’ve seen him do this to others before, trying to get them to do him a favor. But after a while you realized that he genuinely just wants to be by your side. It’s his way of telling you that hey, you should spend some time with him.

Shove him away from you whenever he puts too much weight on you though, sometimes he gets so distracted from how much he laughs in your presence.

Just needed to elaborate on my post about Turks x coworker reader. I tried to consider canon for this but now it’s just Reno yap tbh…NSFW topic but nothing graphic.

(…) Reno is still hesitant about being in a committed relationship. He feels comfortable without the pressure of a label, scared of what might happen if it gets “too real.”

The Turks are a very tight-knit group and care a lot about each other. I believe Reno didn’t have a good life pre-shinra and would consider his colleagues a found family.

In the main story, the Turks are at a point where they would be executed if they refused any orders.

Knowing this, would he really be ready to enter a serious and committed relationship?

Currently thinking about Reader being Alucard's muse and reigniting his interest in art after all that’s happened. His partner’s beauty is so captivating to him that he remembered he used to enjoy drawing.

When he was young, Dracula hired artists to draw portraits of his little family, but Adrian hated standing still for such a long time. Turns out he has no problem making you pose until he portrayed every detail as accurately as possible.

“Stand still for me, my dear.”

Once he’s finished he’s too shy to show you at first, his perfectionism when it comes to you showing again. Some lines may be clumsily drawn and the paint may be smudged in some places, but the features of your face that he loves most look flawless.

All of this just to show you that there’s nothing to be insecure of. He admires you for you, no matter the beauty standards that might convince you otherwise.

Basically just how I’d imagine them having feelings for/being in a relationship with another turk. Nsfw topic for Reno but also not really lmao.

Reno is the type of person to say that love and sappy feelings aren’t his thing and just get tortured by the feelings he has for you. Especially if you’re his colleague and he sees you frequently.

Rude is the only one that knows him well enough to catch on to those feelings. He’s seen him flirting with others at headquarters already, but only you can catch him off guard whenever you tease him back.

And when he asked Reno he laughed it off at first. But after a couple of drinks he started whining about how annoying having feelings for someone is and how he’s not a relationship type of guy anyway.

The closest relationship he would be willing to get into is probably some kind of friends with benefits situation. He invites you over to his place after work sometimes but it does get a little suspicious when he starts telling you to just come over anyway when you’re not in the mood.

Or when he starts holding you afterwards and whines about how you should stay. Doesn’t matter if there’s a mission tomorrow. You can just go to work together!

Or when he accidentally longingly calls you baby while half asleep. Oops.

Adrian with a vampire/dhampir S/O who has smaller fangs than your average vampire despite being the same age as him. Yes… Him gushing over how small their fangs are. Lots of comments, very strangely endearing comments.. For example: “You look like a happy dog..” “Can you even bite down hard enough to puncture the flesh?” Little things like that.

The concept came to my head after reading your little canine dabble about Adrian. This isn’t really a request but more of a thought that I just really needed to share. What do you think?

I think that would be even cuter to him than a human’s canines ngl. And I can imagine short fangs being an insecurity a vampire/dhampir would usually get teased for so it would be really sweet to see him genuinely liking them TT ughh and him asking them to smile for him :(

Alucard x Reader

Part 1 here! I was inspired by your idea @haze-ez so here’s something short about Alu’s feelings. Oh and he’s sad again oops…

CW: nothing graphic, just short mentions of corpses, blood and death

Adrian awoke in a room he didn’t recognize at first, mind fuzzy and head still hurting from all the crying. Although he’d rather be unconscious again, the searing pain of his burns kept him from falling back asleep. Then slowly, his senses started picking up on the faint scent lingering on the pillow. He was in your bedroom.

He must’ve been completely out of it when you were leading him there, and with the events of the last couple of hours still being processed in his mind, he let himself be taken care of blindly. If he’s in your care, he knows he’s safe. And when the memories of Sumi and Taka came flooding back into his mind, he remembered the bodies that needed to be disposed of.

But there were none. The bed was stripped of its bedding, and compared to the jumbled thoughts in his head, the room looked as if nothing had happened. Even his sword was in pristine condition and propped up against the wall next to the door. As he groggily turned and reached for it, he noticed something white in his peripheral vision.

With his attention diverted now, the tips of his fingers only managed to lightly graze the hilt of his sword, making it fall to the ground with a clatter. Adrian jumped back in surprise, only to find you standing there with a bedsheet in your arms.

It turns out that carrying two stiff corpses down the stairwells of a huge castle and scrubbing blood out of white bedsheets is more time-consuming than you thought, and by the time you were finished, the sun had already risen. Adrian was standing in his room when you brought back a spare set of bedding you found in the laundry room, his old sheets still drying.

Your heart ached at the sight of the man before you. Why did all of this have to happen to him of all people? Despite him seeking your comfort that night, you’re unsure about how close the two of you actually are. Sure, there may have been a few moments in which you held each other’s gazes for longer than friends would, but he barely talked to you ever since the vampire hunters came.

And now, a week later, not a single word about the incident has been spoken yet, conversations between you two have been scarce now in general. Alucard already told you what happened, and in fear of making him feel worse than he already is, you decided not to bring the topic up again.

You're sitting on the wide windowsill in your room, leaning your head against the cool glass and watching the sunset. Despite not being able to see the moon at night, the view from here still has something to offer. Adrian is resting on your bed again, back turned to you and face half-buried in your pillow. Most of his days now are spent recovering from the shock in the comfort of your presence, it’s safer being around each other. Part of you wonders if he's formed an emotional connection to your scent on the bedsheets, but it's probably just wishful thinking. As long as it helps him, you don't mind giving up half of your bed.

"You said my name."

His soft whisper from across the room reaches you. Your heart flutters at the thought of him starting a conversation and breaking the silence, but he was just mistaken. You hadn't said a word all evening. Reassuring him it was just his imagination, you tell him to go back to resting.

"No, that night, you said my name. You called me Adrian."

So he does want to talk. And he seems to be opening up a little. You quietly make your way over to the bed, you can't waste this opportunity.

"I'm sorry. I know we're not very close but it just slipped out in the moment. You were worrying me."

You sit down next to him as he turns to read the expression on your face with his eyebrows knitted in confusion.

“I wouldn’t have told you my name if we weren’t close.”

You wonder if you even had the right to feel jealous. He is the one who has been hurt once again, but he has shown you so much generosity and even offered you a new home. The least you can do is being honest about your feelings for him. He doesn’t deserve to be lied to.

”If I can be entirely honest with you…I saw you having so much fun spending time with Sumi and Taka. And I know that they didn’t have good intentions in the end, but I sometimes felt like you tossed me aside. Like I was not important to you the moment someone else came along.”

Adrian’s eyes widen in surprise and after a moment, a heavy sigh leaves his lips and an expression of guilt appears on his face.

”No I…I apologize, that was not my intention. Will you let me explain, please?”

You nod and turn to your side to look at him. The last rays of sunshine of the day creep in through the window and color his side profile with a slight orange hue. He can’t seem to muster up the courage to look at you directly and is staring at the ceiling instead.

Never would he have expected the death of his mother to bring so much additional pain and suffering with it. There was never any time for grieving, never a moment of peace. He knew he had to stop his father, and he did. And while his new friends accompanied him in the beginning, they eventually left too. All that’s left is you.

”Everyone is gone. My parents, Sypha, even that Belmont.”

Is this the hand he was dealt at birth, to be stuck in this vicious circle of misfortunes? Still, he tries his best to downplay his emotions, even with his eyes burning up.

”You’re the only one who stayed. And of all people it had to be you that I became so attached to. I don’t want you to go…I can’t…”, his wavering voice trails off to a whisper.

”I care about you a lot. I don’t want to scare you away with my feelings.”

He’s well aware of the feelings he has buried deep inside. If he removed himself from that closeness to you, those feelings would surely pass. But in the end, the people that should have distracted him only brought you two closer. Maybe that was for the better. How could anyone afford to lose the thread and needle to their heart that’s fraying at the edges?

”Adrian, hey.”

You gently turn his face towards you, wiping away the tears with your thumb. The lifelessness in his eyes from that night is starting to show again, but he’s refusing to look at you now. You can feel the loneliness that is still eating away at him despite your presence.

“I’m not going anywhere, I promise.”

You press a soft kiss to his forehead to calm his tears. The best way to soothe his sorrows is to be present when his feelings threaten to overwhelm him.

A faint, rosy blush appears on his face as he raises his hand to place it on top of the one caressing his face. The burn around his wrist peeks out of his sleeve. It’s slowly starting to heal.

“Your feelings would never make me leave, Adrian.”

Before you can get more than just a short glance at the soft smile forming on his lips, his face has already been buried in your neck. You can feel him whispering against your skin.

“I think I love you.”

You are all he needs to restore his once sanguine view on life.

I hate this but I know some of you were interested in a Part 2 and I’ve been procrastinating on posting this even though I finished it days ago, I’m not happy with it ahhh. Anyway, loneliness is the worst feeling ever, poor Lulu :(

Dazed and confused, you’re laying on your bedroom’s floor. The back of your head feels like it’s being split open and your memories are all over the place. Since when have you been in your room? And laying on the floor of all places? With great exertion, you look around the room as your gaze falls on the candle on top of your nightstand. The light intensifies your headache but…why is it even lit in the first place?

It slowly starts coming back to you. The old candle that was starting to collect dust, the one you never use. Someone came in and lit it.

Sumi and Taka.

You were laying on your bed, the uncomfortable mattress robbing you of your sleep as it did every night, when someone knocked at your door. Without waiting for an answer, Sumi and Taka entered. You sat up at the edge of your bed and the woman came to stand before you.

”It’s so dark in here. You know, our rooms are on the side of the castle where the moonlight shines in.” Without looking at you, she picked up your matches and lit the candle next to the bed.

”So Alucard gave you the best rooms in the castle and you still wander around to find something to complain about?” You’ve noticed their odd behavior and secrecy already, but did they really need to bring you into this?

“Look”, Sumi bent down to your level and placed her hand on your left shoulder, pulling you closer to get a better look at your face. “We have lived as slaves under Cho’s rule. We know what it’s like to be under a Vampire’s control. We can get you away from him.”

Him? Does she mean Alucard? But as soon as you open your mouth to reply, you feel Taka’s hand on your other shoulder as he’s leaning over your bed to talk to you.

“We came here for guidance on how to slay vampires, but that son of Dracula is hiding something. We need to get rid of him.”

You feared this would happen eventually. They were projecting their lack of trust in Alucard onto you. After all their travels and disappointing experiences with others, they couldn’t see the good in people anymore. Shrugging both hands off of your shoulders, you stood up and pushed Sumi away from you.

“I knew you were plotting something. He is a good person, he doesn’t mean any harm. How do you expect to hurt him if you’re his-”

“Taka.”

Right. The last thing you remember is Sumi calling out to Taka and the ensuing blow to the back of your head. You’ve been out cold on the floor for who knows how long, but the only thing on your mind right now is Alucard.

You grab onto your bedsheets and pull yourself up to your feet, your vision blurry as you pick up the candle with trembling hands. They were right, you could really use some moonlight on your side of the castle.

Despite your nauseousness, you manage to stumble into the castle’s dark hallway and make your way to the other end of it. A metallic scent hangs in the air, adding to the discomfort of your bare feet hitting the cold stone tiles. In hopes that Alucard is still unharmed, your legs carry you to his bedroom.

The door is wide open and there’s a barely visible blood trail leading out of the room. Quietly, you hold onto the doorframe and try to sneak a glance into the room without making your presence known. But this turns out to be unnecessary as there’s no one left in the room. No one who’s alive, at least.

The corpses of the vampire hunters are lying on the ground, undressed and with blood running out of their necks and seeping into the bedding underneath them, a dagger laying in the middle of it. Clothes were scattered haphazardly on the floor. What is going on? As if in a trance, you stand frozen in the doorway, unable to avert your gaze from the bloodshed in the room.

“This is my castle. I decide who is allowed to stay here.”

Alucard was unwilling to hear you out, instead standing up to leave your room. Sumi and Taka have been basically glued to his side for the past days. While in the beginning their company was a nice change to the daily routine you and the dhampir had fallen into, their behavior has become increasingly suspicious. Of course he wouldn’t notice, it’s your room that is across from theirs. It’s you who is witness to their whispered words and creeping around the castle.

“I’m just saying, don’t you think they’re acting weird? Alucard, they say they’re vampire hunters. They already killed one of your father’s generals, don’t you think they’re after you?”

He stopped in his tracks and turned around with an annoyed look on his face in stark contrast to his usual loving eyes and kind smile.

“They’re harmless, they just asked for my help. Don’t tell me you are jealous.”

Failing to use their absence to your advantage and tell him about your suspicions, you stood up and took his hand into yours to pull him back in.

“I…how do you expect me to react? You came home with some strangers and are now saying they’ll stay with us? You’re blinded by your loneliness, Alucard. I know you’re having a difficult time, but I promise I’m here for you.”

Your voice trembled with worry, and despite your best attempt at trying to make him listen, he wouldn’t budge. Instead, he quickly pulled his hand out of your grasp and turned back around to leave.

“Don’t forget you’re only calling this place your home because I offered you a place here”, he sighed heavily and started walking away, “Come down for dinner when you’re back to normal.”

After snapping your focus away from the scene, you divert your attention to following the bloody foot prints leading up the stairs and down a hallway until you hear the echoing of muffled sobs coming from the very end of the hall. The door to Alucard’s childhood bedroom is wide open. The bedroom in which you’ve found him in several times, hiding away from you to grieve his parents. The bedroom in which he killed his father.

Now he lays curled up on the spot Dracula died in, a blanket stained crimson red is draped over his body, barely concealing his naked skin. The moonlight around him perfectly frames his disheveled figure lying on the burned carpet. With hurried steps you kneel at his side, hands reaching out to him but hesitating.

”Alu…”

He tenses in surprise and removes his hand from his face. He looks up at you, the fire of your candle is reflected in the tears spilling from his bloodshot eyes, almost glimmering enough to distract from their soullessness. His throat constricts and prevents him from gasping out anything other than your name as he reaches for you.

Pulling him to your chest, you can see the burn marks all over his skin as the blanket falls away. His fingers bunch up the fabric on the back of your nightgown, tugging you closer as he buries his face in the crook of your neck. Shame swallows him whole, you shouldn’t be seeing him this weak and helpless. His frantic gasps for air almost completely drown out the barely intelligible apologies spilling from his lips, his grip on you only tightening despite his trembling.

”Alucard…Adrian, don’t apologize. I’m here.”

Countless scenarios of what might have happened run through your mind while his tears dampen your night gown that is slowly being stained from the blood on his body. Your hands instinctively begin caressing his back in an attempt to soothe him, but when he tenses up and whines in protest you move to hold him in a gentle embrace instead, avoiding any sensitive areas and resting your hand on his upper back that is sticky with sweat.

You continue whispering reassuring words to him, grounding and anchoring him to this moment with you.

He didn't mean to do this. This shouldn’t have happened.

But it’s over now. He’s safe with you.

And he’s not alone.

You patiently hold him, letting him take as much time as he needs to cry out the grievances that are burdening his heart.

His tense muscles slowly relax and his sobs quiet down. Lightly swaying him from side to side, his eyes become heavy and finally close.

Finally averting his gaze from his father’s wedding ring on the ground.

And finally, the ghostly shadow of Dracula occupying his mind appears as comforting instead of frightening for the first time in a long while.

This is the scene that keeps me from rewatching. As someone who loves sad and depressing stuff, this episode made me so incredibly uncomfortable, I was shaking the whole time and I felt like shit for days afterwards. I know the creator said that Alucard’s scene was consensual (the beginning at least), but the implications of SA are so clearly there for me. And then there’s also Hector. I hope this fic doesn’t make it seem like I’m excusing Sumi’s and Taka’s actions, I’m not.

❥ Gets so happy when you visit her at work. Especially in the evening before the boutique closes and there’s barely any customers left and she can chat with you.

❥ You know that prank where people visit their friends at work and act like they’re a customer needing help? Go stand behind her and say “Excuse me” while she’s busy, she’ll get so excited once she realizes it’s actually you.

❥ If you have a sleepover she’d love to do her morning routine with you! First she cuts you up some watermelon and then you both go jogging at the beach. She matches your speed and encourages you to keep going but sticks to her motto of not pushing yourself too much but never giving up!

The first thing I thought of was him doing her hair if it’s long. And vice versa lmao. Father and daughter bonding time just consists of her messing up his hair but he doesn’t mind because he loves her so much. Anything to see her smile.

Oh and I also wanted to say that she would probably get his old room but considering what happened in there…maybe not lmao. But he’d make her a little doll to play with, just like when his parents made toys for him. He’d have to hold himself back not to spoil her rotten lmao since he’s basically vampire royalty. Ahhh thank you it makes me so happy that someone sent something!! I actually have smth super short about Dracula and alu in his wolf form in my drafts but it’s been rotting in there lmao. Ok now let me add on to your headcanons, you’ve inspired me hahah. I hope you don’t mind me using your ask for this ^^

𓆩𓆪 I’ve never thought of the wolf thing but Alucard is definitely petty enough to do that.

𓆩𓆪 I can imagine him scaring the shit out of his partner the first time he did it. Like imagine coming into your bedroom and there’s just a wolf lying on the bed?? But then you remember what your boyfriend is capable of and that it’s probably him.

𓆩𓆪 He definitely knows already that you would gush over him even more in this form AND it’s perfect for cuddling. Sad Alu knows he’ll get lots of pets if he’s acting cute.

Random headcanons that came to my mind because I’m in pain </3

𓆩𓆪 This might sound weird but due to him being a dhampir, he has an enhanced sense of smell and can tell when you’re menstruating. Not necessarily because of the blood, but the shift in your body’s natural scent caused by hormones. He’s held you enough times already and has spent plenty of nights cuddled up to you with his face in the crook of your neck and is very sensitive to any changes in your scent.

𓆩𓆪 He knows, but he doesn’t tell you he does because he wants to respect your privacy. Only when he sees you in visible pain he might ask if your period is the cause. And if you tell him of your own accord, he’ll just go “Do you need anything against the pain, dear?”

𓆩𓆪 Either already knows what to do because his mother is human or he’ll go through her books, there must be something against the pain in there. Reads up on herbs that help and brews you tea. If your pain is particularly bad he (lovingly) bans you to the bedroom and takes care of you for the rest of the day. He’s at your beck and call!

𓆩𓆪 Alucard memorized any symptoms you normally have during your period and can therefore help you better.

You get headaches? Dims the lights and closes the curtains before you lay down.

You have lower back pain or your muscles get sore? Runs you a hot bath.

Particularly sensitive to any strong smells? Don’t worry, he’s on cooking duty.

𓆩𓆪 If you stain the bed at night and he notices first, he tells you to go ahead and take a warm bath to help against the pain and hopes you get up without taking a look at the sheets first. He’s made it clear many times that there’s nothing to be embarrassed about but he understands it’s still not the most pleasant feeling to bleed through your clothes. He changes the sheets quickly and then keeps you company if you allow it.

𓆩𓆪 Doesn’t mind the fact you’re on your period otherwise, it was a huge taboo topic during the 15th century but c’mon. He’s as much of a gentleman as his father was towards Lisa and mature enough to understand it’s just biology. There’s no need to be embarrassed in front of him. He’ll know anyway. And he admires your body for what it’s capable of.
