The Wise Words of Mr.Pyle

John is the greatest character ever written.

The slogan of RB should be we attempted to brain wash you with nutritious material, yet we were unsuccessful. Though it is what they deem nutritious, not what I deem.

He murdered him. But it was war. So it was sanctioned murder.

Student: Are you drinking Prop 64 tea? Pyle: Stares blankly out window, like he didn’t hear him.

Student: When can I make up the quiz. Pyle: Oh you can’t. I just gonna give you a zero. Student: Oh okay. (Walks away, says to student 2) Is he serious? (Next day) Pyle: Have you ever had any teacher give you a zero? student: No. Pyle: Then why’d you think I would? Student: I don’t know. Pyle: I’m hurt.

Student: Walks in to make up exam Pyle: Why are you here?

Poems are like a cup of coffee; a cup of coffee is good. But sonnets are like expresso, strong, short, and powerful.

There isn't alway a hidden meaning [to poems]. Sometimes there's just a purpose. Poems aren’t like Easter eggs. Poets don’t sprinkle meaning everywhere and be like (dramatic pause) dang they’re never gonna find this.

If I could have a conversation with Shakespeare, the first thing I would ask him is how old hamlet is. Then I would ask him why he never tried to preserve any of his plays. If have a long conversation. We'd be there for several hours.

We think it’s creepy when an employer dates an employee or when an older man dates a young girl, as we should. We should think that’s creepy, and we don’t like it. But we like it in Jane Eyre. It’s good in Jane Eyre. We like Jane Eyre.
