like okay, ultimately the reason game theory theories annoy me so much as a lover of all things critical thinking and media analysis is that they feel really corporate lmao. plus it's like. they ran into a fan forum, half remembered some of the words they read, put it in a script and regurgitated it to you pretending no one else has ever thought about it ever before. and then 45% of the information and thus conclusions drawn from them are wrong aldkfkakd

there's a reason there's an ever growing community of niche videogame lore nerds who are very much annoyed at game theory because every new video of theirs results in a new and exciting group of millions of kids who take their word as gospel fundamentally misunderstanding their special interests

ever since i came to the conclusion i was aro i felt like that was it. id never had a crush before*, and as a kid it felt weird how everyone would ask you about your crush and my response was "i am 13 and i like pokémon". every time i thought about being in a romantic relationship i felt like it'd be just unnecessary stress, "after all isn't romance just friendship with kissing" i thought. and all of that kinda combined to me in like 2022-ish hearing about aromanticism thinking. oh yeah that must be it then

now that i have a boyfriend i love though im starting to question if i really am aro/arospec or if i just didn't vibe with the weird mainstream conventions and expectations related to romance. which is a subtle but relevant distinction alskgkak. that and if all the romantic relationships i was exposed to looked more stessful than fun for other reasons which turned me away from romance as a concept aldkcmak
