One of my favorite features of toy manufacturer trade-magazines is the advertisements with lovable characters informing you, the reader, that they will fuck you UP if you even THINK about infringing on their IP.

OH TRUE i completely agree with you, more furby content!  more furby content! 

Why there isnt any more content To me that sounds like HASBROS fault (i think??? theyre aware?? people think that fubbies are creepy and that’s bad for general sales, and with their last furby toy release they seemed to just stop new app content - im assuming because of a small amount of sales) and in my opinion the model design in the popples reboot (by hasbro) was kinda awful:

when theres a close up of their realistic teeth i GO WILD 

AND PLUS the last tv reference hasbro made to furbies in their content was in their transformers movie (2007) where there was a furby branded truck that blew up

(and the last notable callback was in Uncut Gems (2019) with a gold and diamond furby that they also sold for $250 but it was presented as creepy there too)

though!!! they did an AMAZING job with my little pony so maybe there is hope
