The Arkhan Asylum was a chilling place, to say the least. Don hated it from the start. He hated the stories and hated being there in person even more. It was too late to think about it, however, after all, he was already there.

The library seemed to be the only place that was a little less bad, and so he felt relieved when he recived the task of getting some information in some old books while the others handled interrogations with the inmates.

Don wants to point out that this wasn't his fault. Not even he knew what the hell that thing was that was chasing him, and it wasn't his intention to bring it to Gotham. He just… started running, and ended up there. He could have continued running, to somewhere far away, but he figured that since he was there, Batman could help. After all, it was Batman, and he could solve anything, right?

However, he stays quiet, and begins to think about those words. He's about to say that he has no idea what it's weak points are when an idea pops into his head. An acute sense of hearing, he said… they can use that.

Don rolls his eyes dramatically, before looking unimpressed at Damian. “Always a delight to work with you, kid.” His voice is filled with obvious sarcasm, just to get on Robin's nerves. Don would like to be working with any of the other bat-people, but he wouldn't complain. He knows he's not the best partner either.

27. an old muse

My goodness, I have thousands of old muses. Really. I have had so many muses over the years that it’s insane!  But one that I wrote years ago and never stopped loving, and that I want to write again at some point (more specifically when I have time to read her very recent appearances in the comics) is Helena Wayne. 

She, like Don, is not super popular in the comics, but I love her with all my heart— I always have, ever since I found out about her, and I would really love to develop her better this time, to explore her story, new possibilities, headcanons that I have and everything. I don't know if anyone would be interested in writing with her, but one day I'll give my girl a chance again.

28. your first muse

My very first muse in the rpc was Henry Pym Jr if i’m not mistaken. This was back in 2015 when I accidentally discovered the rpc here on tumblr and was trying to understand how everything worked. I wrote him for a long time, until I ended up focusing on other characters.

30. your choice! - so i choose drabbles!

If there's one thing I love, it's drabbles! I love reading what people write about their characters, and I've been dying to write some drabbles with mine too, but I haven't done much yet, because I think I lack confidence to? Which is super weird, given that I write with them always. I just never think my drabbles look good enough to be posted, and I always have trouble finding an idea to write about, so I really admire people who find it easy to do this.

That said, I'll try my best to write some drabbles about Don, and the Tornado Twins at some point. Suggestions are very welcome!

1. long threads

There was a time where I couldn't get my threads to get very long, but I always admired the people that could write longer threads. I'd spend hours reading their posts because they were so damn good and showed so much of their characters ! 

Now, I’m at a point where I feel like I can write a lot more so my threads are getting naturally longer ( I still couldn’t show this too much here but I'm writing more on my other blog ). 

So yeah, I love long threads! I do think long threads are more demanding, sometimes you don't have the right time or inspiration to work on them, and sometimes they take more time to be done but I really love them. I love the descriptions and I like knowing what's going on in the characters' mind. I guess it’s a great way to show that you love and understand that character, you know ? It’s just great!

7. DNIs in rules

Okay, maybe this will be an unpopular opinion, so bear with me.

I don't have, and I don't see myself having in any point a DNI list—there's nothing that really bothers me to the point that I’d see myself needing one. However, I understand some people who have it. I say some because, in my opinion ( and I know this is very personal ), if it's in relation to a topic that makes the owner of the blog very uncomfortable, then I think they're valid. I also think that DNI for personal blogs are also kinda valid ( although I don't know if they work or not ).

But in some cases I think that DNI is just an excuse for people to be mean, I guess. Some DNI are just bullshit. I really hate seeing DNI for ocs, for example, and I do think people who have this rule are kinda jerks.

21. your current RPC

At the moment, I don't have much to complain about the rpc. Of course there are nice people and mean people everywhere, that's inevitable, and annoying things can happen sometimes, but overall, I consider myself lucky because i'm able to write and have fun in the community, so I prefer to see only the positive side.

The only thing that could improve, however, is people's engagement—especially with ocs, but in general too. I think it's important that we send a lot of memes to the people we see on dash, leave likes on posts, especially headcanons ones, send in character development asks and things like that that seem to be a little lacking these days. We all like it, so we could try harder to make it more frequent to everyone and not just some people!

Look—I do love violet threads ! Because they usually go hand to hand with action threads, and I love writing action/fighting scenes. I also think it's a relevant topic for heroic muses and in which a lot of cool things can be developed (as long as it has a reason and isn't violent just for the sake of it, you know?), so never feel shy about coming to hurt Don, because he can handle it!
