I'm always amazed by our Deco team! This is only one part! Sadly I only have this. I didn't get to take the photos for the other wall, the ceiling[especialy the ceiling :'(]and the fairy lights around the house before they took them down while cleaning. Today marks the day where my student card expires, tomorrow I will have to pay double fare for public transport. Hehehe. But I thank God for the grace and mercy He has shown me throughout my whole diploma in Malaysian and degree here in Brisbane. I was a really bad student(the worse even) but You are a good God and that made all the difference. While I don't know what may happen on the 9th of July, but I'll stand firm in Your promises and in Your love. I'll let You worry for me, and I will enjoy this life that You have gifted me. Thank You, Jesus. This gratitude pales against the things You have done for me and all I can do is standing in awe in Your presence. My beautiful God, my glorious Saviour, my loving Father. :')

God is not an elephant.

This has been one of my favorite sayings and recently when I was telling this to my small group my friend showed me this video. So I’m sharing this with you! This week and next week have a record of being one of my most stressful weeks during summer. This usually causes me to be quite short tempered and mad at the people around me. But I’m really trying to live a godly life and live by the example of Jesus Christ. The people around Him put Him on a cross to DIE! And what did he do? He forgave them and showed them love. Therefore why can’t I just forgive the people around me and cast love on them?? They certainly aren’t trying to kill me… But instead I’ve chosen to hold grudges and think selfishly. This week I WILL try to make an effort to not be an elephant!

So often when people make mistakes, they get down on themselves and think, “If only…” “I should have…” “What if…?” It’s easy to feel like you’ve missed the best plan for your life. That’s when people get discouraged and stop pursuing their God-given dreams. But understand today, just because you’ve made a mistake or failed in some way doesn’t cancel God’s plan. God never disqualifies you. He never says, “Go sit on the sidelines. You’ve blown it too many times. You’ve got too many weaknesses.” No, God always gives you another chance!

Some of the great people in the Bible made very poor choices. The apostle Paul started off as a murderer, yet his destiny was bigger than his mistakes. He ended up becoming a great leader and writing over half of the New Testament.

What am I saying? Our mistakes, our failures, our poor choices don’t have to keep us from our God-given destiny. With God, it’s not about the way you start in life, it’s about the way you finish. Receive His grace today and embrace the bright future He has in store for you!
