Here's to the trans men who actually do have violent tendencies and actually do lash out, as well as the trans men who have never done anything and are being prosecuted with no basis.

Here's to all the trans men that are petrified of people thinking they're unpalatable because last time someone thought that, something terrible happened.

I'm a disordered paraphile (biastophilia) who just happens to also have psychosis. I avoid shipcourse like the plague because it actively triggers my delusions super bad. But I recently got called paramisic in my inbox because I... avoid proship spaces... and "you can't be pro para if you don't like proshippers" and it made me panic super bad....

I do really like this blog though thank you for having it!!! It feels super impossible to find paraphillia spaces that aren't centered around a specific end of shipcourse......

Avoiding proship vs antiship debates doesn't make you "not pro para", because proshipping doesn't actually indicate a person is pro para in the first place. I've seen tons of proshippers who are INSISTENT that fictoparaphilias aren't actually paraphilias, and that they're "the good ones" compared to "actual paraphiles." (Which is ridiculous, because they clearly don't know the actual definition of paraphilia. Paraphilia includes ALL kinks, fetishes, and atypical attractions/arousal.)

For example, fictozoophiles who insist that being attracted to fictional animals isn't a paraphilia (which, again, is a ridiculous misunderstanding of the term), and that they're "not like those disgusting zoophiles."

I also see a lot of proshippers who claim that fiction doesn't affect reality, which just ignores the lived experiences of many people with psychosis, people with OCD, people with behavioral addictions, fictionfolk, etc. It also ignores the impacts of propaganda spread through fiction.
