Predictable, stuck-up, boring. “You just seem better than that. That’s all.”

    “L-look, just listen, okay? This entire place is in danger! We don’t have time for--” Dipper has no real idea on how to finish that sentence, waving hopelessly at the glass separating them. He may have only been conscious a matter of panic-stricken minutes, but it didn’t make him any less insistent. “You have to warn them now!”

    “Cutting class? Mabel Pines, I never thought I would see the day.” Not that the same could be said for him, of course, so much a stranger no one particularly seemed to care when he disappeared. What did it matter, anyway? In weeks he’d be gone again, anyway.
