That being said, there are a few ground rules I would like for everyone to take a gander at, including my admittedly short yet very important DNI-

I agree, I miss that too so if executed well, that would be really cool. My only concern is if the team will be able to handle that many episodes and if they’ll have a good system between them. I know animation can be tough, and things get really complicated when due dates are introduced into the mix too. So I wish them all the luck in the world. And I hope they are paid well for their labor.

I don't like most of the DAWM main cast designs expect for Roy, the cloud guy, Earl, and maybe Oddrey???? Idk.

Don't care for Teddy, I know he’s Mage and the fan favorite, but his deign’s a pretty generic rabbit magician, Muffin’s cute but could have a lot more done with his design, Bertie’s ok, Archie’s fine, Mae’s fine, Honeybell’s the same as Teddy, Lunette’s cute, Fiona’s nothing to write home about but is ok.

Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, even if it’s based on first impressions of characters that don’t have much info (though to be fair, a few of them have ample info released by the creator themselves that I think is more than enough for a person to decide wether they’d like said character or not).

I know they’re trying to be secretive and cryptid, but the way they’re doing it comes off as spoon-feeding with how much he’s revealing spoilers/key-plot points for the series. Especially as DAWM’s made for an older, audience (it’s listed not suitable for 17 or younger on the wiki). You’d trust the audience enough to figure things out on their own in the show instead of straight out telling them.

Sounds overdramatic, but it means a lot to me as someone with textured hair. 🥹

That’s fair. Personally I think all tropes are possible to execute well, it just depends on the writer. But I can understand your perspective.

As someone who’s been in fandoms wherever there’s a w/m in a happy, healthy canon relationship (My hero, Attack on titan, etc, Cough, cough!) 9 times outta 10 the sweet, kind girl love interest/popular character often shipped with said guy is always portrayed as the “horrible abuser”.

This is true, though I’d say both concerns for both characters are valid. People get really weird about female characters that so much as breath around their ‘pookies’.

Hey that’s the fun of theorizing! It doesn’t always have to be super serious and incredibly supported by canon details. Sometimes it’s just a fun ‘what if’.

If this is true (I don’t have time at the moment to verify and go through all their AMAs so if you could provide it that would be swell), once again I do think they should be just a little bit mindful of what they share about the story versus what they keep under lock and key until it comes out. I’d give the benefit of doubt that maybe they’re comfortable sharing this much info because it won’t affect or spoil too much, but I’d be lying if I said the concern isn’t still there 😔

I’m of the opinion that no one should open or in a discord unless they have a very strong and capable mod team from the get go. And even the, tread carefully. I’ve heard pretty horrific things about discord servers. My biggest advice would be to make it an 18+ server as well.

And Teddy’s shown to be the jealous type in a few artworks, have fun with that fact!

I am an adult that enjoys nsfw so of course I do have tons that are of that nature 👀

For example, I headcanon that Teddy is a bratty bottom to Archie. Which works perfectly if he’s got jealous tendencies…just imagine the tension that starts building up when he realizes he kind of likes being dominated…by Archie no less! He didn’t think he had it in him! But he just one day snapped during the argument, pulled him harshly by his bow tie and slammed his lips into his in the angriest, hungriest kiss Teddy has ever experienced! They hadn’t talked about it after it happened. It was just a mistake. A slip up that neither of them wanted to let linger between them. But then Teddy starts to yearn, and it makes him livid when he realizes that he’s not bothered by Mae giggling at one of Archie’s jokes. No…seeing Archie smile so sweetly, so ‘innocently’ at Mae pissed him off even more! Totally not because he’s jealous…but because it was a farce! It had to be…

And then they have sloppy make outs the end.

I’m fairly certain that the main characters are those 4?? But I could be confusing it with what someone mentioned about them being drawn the most since they seem to be fan favorites? Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or answer this question those of you that follow 💕
