Hey there;)
Name ten favourite characters from ten different things (books, tv, film, etc.), then tag ten people
tagged by @captain-aralias, who is kindly giving me many fun memes to participate in and for which I am v grateful!
This is so huge, so I think I’ll stick to major franchises and a few favorites:
Star Trek: Bones McCoy (southern sassy mcsass! also, a medical professional)
Harry Potter: Remus Lupin (tragic backstory and eminently fuckable in a cardigan? sold!)
Bond villains: Max Zorin (when Silicon Valley villains wore riding kits and not Allbirds and hoodies. Oh, and while we’re on Bond, my favorite is Dalton - his version was ahead of its time and I will defend that opinion to personal injury)
GoT: Ser Jorah Mormont. Both the show and books. He’s loyal to the death and a fuck up and both of those things are my jam
Outlander: Captain Jack Randall because I am an AWFUL person
Battlestar Galactica (reboot): Bill Adama. God, I love Bill Adama. He’s so flawed. And pigheaded and gruff and treats his son shitty and is angry and broken when he’s drunk and is dedicated and fair and generous and intelligent and kind. He does not ask of anyone else beyond what he himself can give. He’s the guy you trust in charge of your fleet and also your favorite books. And when he finally allows himself to love Roslin, it’s fierce and tender and beautiful to watch.
Breaking Bad: This is hard, because this show has so many amazing characters. I love Gus Fring, and poor Gale Boetticher, but my fave is Mike Ehrmantraut. I sure seem to like grumps, don’t I?
Hannibal: The biggest ass on this list, Dr Frederick Chilton. And he certainly paid for it a few times over by the end.
Star Wars: Moff Tiaan Jerjerrod. Why I’ve taken a character with like four scenes in canon as my favorite? Who the fuck knows. I’ve loved him since I was in grade school. Plus, Michael Pennington.
Blake’s 7: Roj Blake. I generally like villains best (and B7 really has some great ones) but flawed heroes are a weakness too and this one definitely fits that bill. But I love him, love him, love him no matter what. He is the abused, brainwashed, self-righteous revolutionary of my heart.
Edit: I’m a dumbass and didn’t tag anyone? Eh, just do it if you want.
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

Nikoletta Skarlatos
Tom Nook and Isabelle.
Judge Dredd - Cover Art by Rafa Flores Art
Michael Curtiz, December 24, 1886 – April 11, 1962.
With Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman on the set of Casablanca (1942).
Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
Well, it wasn’t as obnoxiously bad as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986), but it was still bad. Just boringly bad. It’s actually more like a remake than a sequel. It doesn’t really fit in with what The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974) established, and just tells a different version of that original story. But yeah, bad acting, bad screenplay, bad dialogue, bad music… I can’t really think of anything particularly positive to say. But we’ll see what I can come up with when I do my full review as part of my podcast, which you will be able to find here in a few weeks.
